Although I love just about all types of music, the biggest influence on what I write and record is the pop, rock, folk, and country music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.  All vocals and instruments are performed and recorded by me and, except where otherwise noted, all songs are original compositions.  I often post the lyrics to my compositions as an aid to listeners who do not have English as their first language.  Thanks to all who stop by and listen to any of my songs.  I appreciate your time and attention, and I hope you enjoy listening.

I work really hard to produce with my producer who has created all these records and musical ideas. please show him love seriously. I send him all my lyrics and we work together at the studio sometimes only when I am not being busy at work or being a mommy to my two beautiful kids.

I started in 1972 playing Bass with different Rock and Country bands and some of the best musicians in the greater Montreal area, mostly Country because they had more work  
In 1990 decided to switch over to guitar to form a duo with my long time friend and bass player Buddy, called Max Duo, top 40 and dance, together we played different venues and were considered a top duo in the Montreal area.
In 1995 the business was changing and getting harder to find work so I decided to venture out as a single , had some good success for a year until I had to have throat surgery, and had struggled ever since with my vocals, but did play bass again with some great musicians for a couple years after.
In 2000 me and my old friend Buddy decided to get back together again and form another duo, South of 40, this time with a little more country rock flavour. 
We worked together until 2011 when we decided to stop, (we were both getting pretty old LOL) but still kept in touch.
In 2016 I decided to do some home recordings just to keep us busy, so decided to call my old partner Buddy and we’ve been having fun doing it ever since. 
We don’t play in public anymore but we still love the music, so I hope everybody enjoys it and it brings a smile, or gets you taping your feet.

We are an electronic pop duo with a connection to nature and trees, which have great healing powers🙏🦉🌳

I have been playing in rock bands for more than 50 years having had many exciting gigs.
Playing in the band in front of an audience is an incredible joy especially playing my own original songs.
About ten years ago, I was having problems with my hearing due to playing too many gigs, so I decided to give my ears a rest and focus on making demos at home.
DAW software has made remarkable advances, and now it's easy to overdub and finish a song if you can play  instruments. 
In addition to playing in a band, I discovered the joy of completing songs with overdub on my own.While I was taking a break from my band activities, original songs were piling up on my hard drive one after another.
I wondered if there was any way to get more people to listen to my songs? 
At that time, I happened to learn about a platform called SoundCloud. Musicians from all over the world participated and uploaded their songs there. I also set up my own page on SoundCloud and used it as a place to release my original songs.
Since I started this page, quite a few listeners have come and given me a lot of positive comments. Much more than I expected! I am very happy to contact many excellent musicians through SC. 
Just when I thought I had resumed my band activities, the coronavirus pandemic began. Many musicians lost their place to work and were at a loss.
The pandemic has finally ended, and now Japan's venues have regained their former vitality.
Now I enjoy having gigs and making one-man band songs simultaneously.
