The People’s Dance Collective is an African born and raised producer/DJ that calls Melbourne, Australia home. 

The PDC is inspired by the euphoria of trance, the rugged nature of electro, and the deep emotional vibes of house.  

The PDC sets are energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics. He inhabits a space where throwback house bombs sit comfortably with electroclash and techno.  

An avid wax enthusiast, The PDC sees vinyl records as the heritage of the spirit of house music, to be rediscovered and shared at intimate and dusty parties. The process of stumbling on a sound outside the algorithm driven space of the world wide cyber cloud keeps the glowing embers of countless bygone underground scenes alive.

Simeon has been a musician and songwriter since the age of 11. His Father was a prolific musician, band and choir director who started him on the guitar and piano. Additionally, he has played bass, drums and the clarinet. Beginning in church he sang in several groups and sang lead and played guitar and bass in three different bands. Between three bands they opened for jazz musician Roy Ayers as well as reggae acts like Tony Rebel and Barrington Levy.

Additionally, He worked at a local radio station, WSTA for 25 years as the on-air personality of "Nesah" (Nay-sah).

Powerful music plucks you away from your current cares and drops you somewhere where carefreeness lets you take the lead. EDM-producer, ROY L has mastered this art of sonic storytelling, taking you to summer night festival. Eyes closed, hands in the air, and not a worry around you. Inspired by the great AVICII, ROY L aims to leave an impression and a legacy. His songs have a blend familiar electronic elements with catchy melodies. 

Perhaps that is why when you listen to one of ROY L’s songs they tend to stand out. Yes, they are good; and yes they, simply, make you want to dance, but there is something more buried within them, a sense of purpose and drive behind every note.
