You speak in sentences
Made to break 
Whilst holding a grudge
On the breaths that you take 

The sound of sirens 
In the naked light 
I can see you 
Willing your eyes not to wake 

Holding your hand 
Just to find there are two 
With the other so tight
You just let me loose
Nobody told me 
That this was something 
People you love could do
