Established in late 2009 by James Foster in south east England, 2 MUCH BASS RECORDS was created to help DJ’s, Artists and Producers. 

2MBR started out specialising in Dubstep, but as time has progressed, the label has now grown into all genres of Electronic music.  

2MBR gives artists the opportunity to connect to a wide range of opportunities including networking, guidance in their music, industry advice, and the main focus in releasing their tracks worldwide! 

2MBR's releases can be found on 140 Worldwide stores including: Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and many more.
 
2MBR is rapidly growing with acts such as Chrispy becoming household names in the Dubstep genre, whilst attracting attention from all over the world including such huge names as Atlantic Records.  

Here at 2MB we pride ourselves in finding the best new underground talent and helping them achieve success! 2011 looks to be our biggest year yet as we look ahead to more bass fueled releases and enough new jaw dropping artists to make anyone want to keep their eyes on 2 Much Bass Records.

Coventry-based producer and engineer, Roller Derby skater and referee, rock climber, international man of mystery, curmudgeon, occasional DJ and masked crime-fighter.

I noodle around with Ableton Live 8 & 9 and make tunes. I have less than no clue which of your favourite sub-sub-sub-genres any of this fits into, and I frankly don't give much of a toss, either.


For the gear-geeks: Toshiba laptop w/Win7-64, Ableton Live 8, Akai APC40 control surface, Akai MPD18 pad controller, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 & M-Audio FastTrack Ultra 8R audio interfaces, Novation A-Station hard synth, SuperWave soft synths and rhythm machines, ClyphX, Bome's Midi Translator, M-Audio Axiom 61 keyboard, Tannoy Reveal 502 active monitors, Alesis RA300 amp + 20-year-old Soundcraft Spirit Absolute 2 monitors, Sennheiser cans, various shakers, a rainmaker of dubious heritage and some guitars that I hardly ever use, all packed into 10 square metres of acoustically-reasonable space that I laughingly and ironically call "Studio Kasbah".

Chrispy is a 23 year old producer and DJ from North Wales, UK. He mostly produces dubstep, but gets inspiration from all genres and styles. His use of heavy basslines along with melodic leads create a unique sound that is enjoyed by many,
He has released music through labels such as Dub All Or Nothing, 2 Much Bass and Stupid Fly Records.
