Ep. 7 'how to start a fire once the umbers cease to glow' 

Welcome to the last episode of this exploratory season, giving way to a period of radio silence from me as the upcoming months of touring approach.

This week is full of haunting female vocals; a convergence of electronic, ambient and acoustic. There's poetry by Leonard Cohen and Kae Tempest & some of my own rough ambient takes. So light a candle in the dark, give a howl-out to the milky moon and move toward the elemental.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Für das kosmische Erwachen an diesem montäglichen Morgen zeichnet sich und uns, verantwortlich wie auch ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht, ein bunter Hund aus katerlichen Kreisen, ein ganz besonderes Körnchen unter all den Vögeln: @Hobta. Da setzt man sich gerne ins gemachte Nest. Er ist nicht Amsel, sondern Drossel und er bleibt Star.

#059: Hobta - Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise

The third episode in the mix series entitled Plant Poetry /

It’s 2020 and planet earth is undergoing a new wave of fear and confusion. As the humans battle through the paradox of connected isolation, the plants are prompted to root into a deeper level of communication with the forces that govern outer space. Becoming even sharper receptors of energetic information and spreading their life-loving spores, the plant kingdoms have formed a coalition with the galaxies. Together they devise to transmit love more efficiently, generate greater clarity-infused oxygen and continue to carry water, sunlight and healing through their underground networks so that it can be absorbed by all the lifeforms who feel lost among the stars.

Plant Poetry Vol. III

⊣ People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day ⊢

When have you last dragged your tired bones off of the dusty chaise longue? 
Has it been minutes or months? 
Even your television set has put on a substantial amount of weight. 
And its once so crisp image is flickering noisily in black and white. 

Oh the lethargy!

But then your telephone starts ringing and quite accurately in the moment you take the receiver off the hook it dawns on you: this isn’t your sitting room, or even your house. It is not even your era.
On the other end of the line a soft voice is soothing your initial shock with the words: 

“Don’t worry. You drifted off and that’s fine. 
Have a drink, take a rest. Tomorrow will be your day.”

You’re in luck! Elizen The Emperor has everything under control for now.
But at some point you really have to get off your couch. 
Your plants must be thirsty...

Zeit ist lang und Raum ist groß, viel Spiel sich zu verpassen. Dennoch: Manchmal passt's halt einfach. Um so schöner eben, dass nicht nur die Ausgangslänge schön statt schief ist: @neoBeo sonst zwischen Fusion, Sisyphos und Katerschmaus unterwegs, heute mit Zeit und Raum im Montagskontinuum.
