This song always makes me think of a sea bird hovering in the wind over the ocean and cliffs, relaxed but alert and very much in a state of awareness of its surroundings.
Im pleased with the guitar composition and playing but appreciate that there is a little spill over of the breathing, plus I struggled with the ending. Enjoy, or not.

Sea Bird

This started as a remix of the track 'Liberty' (Skcollob) by KaolinKit (@kaolinkit) and ended up being bounced back and forth between us with the track resulting into what it is now. Although it doesnt exactly match KaolinKit's original interpretation and remix it does however carry forward a lot of his ideas.

This started as an acoustic piece with elements of 'Adele Someone like you' . Just for the point of creativity I asked Duncan if he would sing the lyrics. As it turned out he created his own lyrics and we diverted away from creating a version of Adele, Someone like you, Rather we went with the flow and it worked so we then made many changes to detract it from Adele. But that isnt to say that there arnt traces of her song in this song. One thing we'd like to point out is that we havnt purposefully tried to copy from Adele, nor hide the fact that elements of her song exist within this track. Thanks

Who Made Who (AC DC)

This track uses bird recordings (zoomH4n) from my back yard. These recordings were then manipulated by FX and Synthesis whilst being used as triggers for synthesis also. The reason why I chose the birds for this project was in order to experiment with the bird song, in order to study it and find out if there were any patterns to the rythym. I was also interested to see sampling and synthesis applied to the bird song as i was looking for original sources of sound. My findings for this is that each bird is as original and individual as you and I.

Not a fan of music that fits so concisely into genere boxes and not a fan of ego or financial greed.
I am a fan of passion, beat, ryhthm, change, and dynamics and I find that I am drawn to those pieces of music that are born with these elements at their heart, not by the feckin rule book.
