هو ته مونکي چِتا تي وٺي ٿي ويا
مينهن برسي پيو ڪالهه شمشان ۾

بادلو بادلو ڪجهه ته برسي وڃو
رات ترسي وڃو هِن بيابان ۾

عشق تنهنجو اياز آهي انسان سان
هو چون ٿا ته تون ناهين ايمان ۾

ﺟﻮ ﻭﮀڙﮠ ﻟﺌﻪ ڪﻮ ﺑﻬﺎﻧﻮ ﺑﻪ ﮔﻬﺮﺟﻲ !
ﻭﺳﺎﺭﮠ ﻟﺌﻪ ڪﻮﺋﻲ ﻓﺴﺎﻧﻮ ﺑﻪ ﮔﻬڙﺟﻲ !
ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ ﺟﻮ ﺳﺎﻧﺠﻬﻲﺀَ ﺟﻲ ﻭﻳﻠﻲ،
ڪﻨﻬﻦ ڏﻳﺌﻲ ﺟﻲ ﻭﻳﺠﻬﻮ ﺍﺩﺍﺳﻲﺀَ ۾ ﻭﻳﻬﻲ،
ﭘَﻨﻲ ﺟﻲ ﭼﭙﻦ ﺗﻲ ﻫِﻲ ﻟﮑﺠﻲ ﺗﻪ ﺟﺎﻧﺎﻥ،
ﻫﺎ ﺗﻮﮐﺎﻥ ﺳﻮﺍﺀِ ﺍﮄﻭﺭﻭ ﻣﺎﻥ ﺁﻫﻴﺎﻥ !
۽ ﻟﮑﺠﻲ ﺗﻪ ﻣﻮﻧﮑﻲ ﭜﻨﻞ ﺷﺎﻡ ٽﺎﮢﻲ،
ﮔﻬﮣﻮ ﻳﺎﺩ ﺍﻳﻨﺪﻱ، ﻫﺎ ﺍﻳﻨﺪﻱ ﺗﻮﻥ ﺁﻫﻴﻦ !
ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ ﺟﻮ ﺳﺎﺣﻞ ﺗﻲ ﻭﮀڙﻱ،
ﻭﺭﻱ ڪﻨﻬﻨﺠﻲ ﭘﻴﺮﻥ ﺟﻲ ﺧﻮﺷﺒﻮﺀَ ﺟﻮ ﭘُﮁﺠﻲ !
۽ ﺁﮄﻱ ﺟﻮ ﺗﻨﻬﺎ ﭤﻲ ﺭﺳﺘﻦ ﺗﻲ ﺭُﻟﺠﻲ !
ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ !
ﺟﻮ ﺩﻝ ﺟﻲ ﺷﻬﺮ ﺟﻲ ﺳﭵﻲ ﻫﻴڪﻼﺋﻲ،
ﺳﺘﺎﺭﻥ ﺟﻲ ﺩﻝ ﮐﻲ ﭔﮅﺍﺋﻲ ﺑﻪ ﮀڏﺟﻲ !
ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ ﺟﻮ ﭘﺎﮘﻞ ﻫﻮﺍ ﮐﺎﻥ،
ﮐِﻠﻲ ڪﻨﻬﻦ ﺟﻲ ﺯﻟﻔﻦ ﺟﺎ ﺍﺣﻮﺍﻝ ﻭﭠﺠﻦ !
ﭤُڪﻲ ﭘﻨﻬﻨﺠﻲ ﺭَﺕ ﮐﻲ ﺭﮘﻮ ﺧﻮﺍﺏ ﺍُﮢﺠﻦ،
ﮐﮣﻲ ﻳﺎﺩﮔﻴﺮﻥ ﺟﺎ ﺧﻴﻤﺎ ﺍُﮄﺍﺭﺍ،
ﭤﮅﻳﻦ ﻣﻮﺳﻤﻦ ۾ ﭤﮅﺍ ﺳﺎﻫﻪ ﮐَﮣﺠﻦ !
ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ !
ﺟﻮ ﻭﮢﺠﺎﺭﻱ ﻗﺪﻣﻦ ﺟﻲ ڪﻨﻮﻟﻦ ﺗﻲ ﺳﻮﭼﻲ،
ﮔﻼﺑﻦ ﺟﻮ ﭘﺘﻴﻮﻥ ﻫﭥﻦ ﺳﺎﮠ ﻣﻴڙﻱ،
ﭔﻪ ٽﻲ ﻟُڙڪ ﻫﺎﺭﻱ ڪﺘﺎﺑﻦ ۾ ﺭﮐﺠﻦ،
ڊﮔﻬﺎ ﺩﺭﺩ ﻣَﻦ ﺟﻲ ﺍﮐﻴﻦ ﺳﺎﮠ ﭔﮑﺠﻦ !
۽ ﺍﻟڪﻦ ﺟﻲ ڪﺎﺭﻱ ﺍﻳﺎﻣﻦ ﺟﻲ ﺑَﺮَ ۾،
ﺭﮘﻮ ﻧﻴﮡ ﺍُﮔﻬﺠﻦ، ﺭﮘﻮ ﻟﻔﻆ ﮔُﻬٽﺠﻦ،
ﺍﻭ ﮂﻭﻟﻴﺎ ﺍﻭ ﺟﺎﻧﻢ ! ﺿﺮﻭﺭﻱ ﺗﻪ ﻧﺎﻫﻲ،
ﺟﻮ ﻣﺎﮢﻬﻮ ﺍﺟﺎﻳﻮ ﭘﭥﺮ ﺗﻲ ﻧﺴﻮﺭﻭ،

اعلان هزارين مان نه رڳو

They have died without their death, thousands of men, not me alone.
In this world, O my country, thousands have gone crazy, not me alone;

All night long eyes did not close and dew fell drop by drop,
If the morning cups its hand then,
In prison, there will be thousands, not me alone;

Why does the moon fill the world with poison,
In these last hours of the night,
thousands wonder, not me alone;

If you say so, I will neither tremble nor cry,
But now let me ask you: how many will you silence,
proclamations are thousands, not me alone;

Time will pass and our luck will turn,
This fire will rage all the more,
Thousands hopes, not me alone.

Shaikh Ayaz the man of Romance, Love, Nationalism and huge vision - Ayaz's poetry played a major role in the development of progressive thinking in the country, particularly in Sindh.
