Ouija is a classic way of entering into communication with the spirit world, a communication modus according to parapsychology without particular danger. SKNAIL however here presents another way of communicating with spirits, with Swiss precision, all in finesse, associated with a lot of energy and emotions, in a clockwise direction.

Andrés Marcos is a Spanish/Swiss visionary and multi-instrumentalist based in Zurich.
He is running the label "Wondermachine" and is part of the collectives "Pluie/Noir" and "UNOIKI"

For this POOLcast Andrés collected material first and recorded a session with. 
Over that he played with double bass, guitar, drums, saxophone and synthesizer 
and improvised with the whole again and so on until ...

There are sometimes exceptions, Adriano Mirabile makes here one, and explores new territories, headfirst, proving that he can feel at home also breaking the schemes. This was the homework. The limitations make the music, and in this case, avoiding the standards was the exercise. Preparing the material for Wondermachine has been a long process; the scope of the project has also evolved during its realisation. The result is a blend of acoustic, electronics, jazz, ambient and dancefloor funk.

Guests, remixers, mastering engineer, graphic designer know each other since years, so it is also a kind of family affair.

Sknail is a music producer and composer @ SKNAIL (glitch jazz) and DE GHOST (electronica)


SKNAIL is a jazz project based in Switzerland, a pioneer in its field: the spearhead of a musical movement combining contemporary jazz and minimal electronica music called "glitch".
This combo of five virtuoso musicians, all hailing from jazz, is about to release its fourth album entitled "Ouija". This new opus evolves through nine tracks mixing acoustic purity and post-electronica vibrations.

DE GHOST is the new solo electronica project of Swiss producer Sknail.
The track “Luxe”, 2nd prize in the Electron Festival Track Contest 2020, is the 1st single from the forthcoming album.
De Ghost's sound is a clever mix of rhythmic glitch, deep bass and atmospheric pads. His music with its sober and minimalist aesthetic, charged with an ethereal mood, evokes a near future in which the ultimate luxury will be silence, freshness and purity.
