Karton were an Australian EDM act hailing from Canberra ACT consisting of members Paul Beohm & Paul Richter. With their first breakbeat release on the now defunct label Sound Not Scene in 2003 the duo has quite a few releases also via the label Sound of Habib releasing 2 albums via SOB too. Their last recorded breaks release as a duo was in 2011.

It’s 2008 and breaks is booming! At the forefront of the scene were a trio known as Aquasky aka Brent Newitt, Kieron Bailey and Dave Wallace. With releases on many, many respected labels and djing all over the world, they really were pioneers of the scene in what what was a bloody exciting time in music.

13 years on and a lot has changed. Brent now runs a series of labels on the Jungle Scene (Vinyl Fanatiks) repressing old tunes as well as new. When Global Breaks Festival asked him to come out of retirement and do a set, how could he say no!

So here it is folks in all it’s glory. 1 hour of classics from back in the day. Bursting full of nostalgia, this is our 6th Day of Christmas!

NAPT were an award winning Breakbeat duo from London UK. They won 3 awards at Breakspoll 2009 including, best producer, best track and best remix plus best breaks track at the 2009 Beatport music awards. This mix was from a web series they put out called "Sessions" back via their web page in 2005. What they are up to today i do not know .....
