BORN IN NEW YORK AND RAISED IN THE WEST, EYE WAS A FOSTER YOUTH WITH RAISED BY OVER 10 GUARDIANS AND SHIFTED IN MANY DIRECTIONS, LEARNING OVER TIME THAT A HEALING MENTALITY CONQUERS ANY DEFEAT YOU MAY ENCOUNTER. SOUNDSBYEYE HAS LIVED MOST OF HIS LIFE IN LOS ANGELES, PASADENA, AND SAN FRANCISCO. HIS FIRST MENTOR IN MUSIC WAS Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, TEACHING HIM TRUMPET AND BASIC MUSIC THEORY WITH AN EMPHASIS FOR PERSISTENCE. AT 12 YEARS OLD, EYE BEGAN SINGING, RAPPING, AND PERFORMING WRITTEN MATERIAL AND POETRY. BY 19, EYE OPENED FOR , Tha Dogg Pound   Luniz, AND Kendrick Lamar ScHoolboy Q & Ab-Soul OPENING UP WITH HIS FIRST GROUP "DELPHIC CONCEPTS" (THIS WAS THE SAME SHOW SiR AND D Smoke PERFORMED AT 10/1/2011).  4 YEARS LATER, ON 10/1/15 EYE DROPPED HIS FIRST SOLO PROJECT #OBSERVE , A 9 SONG PROJECT WITH NO FEATURES AND ONE PRODUCER.
