OM COLD BLOOD imagines a watery world, ruled by digestion. The body is leaky, evolved from water, standing on earth, destined for the dirt. The earth is porous, plastic its awful lubricant. The ocean is a lachrymal vase. The garden is erotic, cheap therapy for human hands and errant arms.

From Bitsy Knox’s winding, corporeal poetics, and Roger 3000’s strangely romantic sounds, OM COLD BLOOD unfolds as the first-time musical collaboration of a decade-long friendship. Spoken word crawls around a densely collaged, guitar-based sound from which sampler, synthesizer, voice loops, and found elements emerge and distort. These sonic moods do not illustrate the words, but braid themselves through the spoken and sung narrative, wading and fading into the vulnerability of OM COLD BLOOD’s bonus track.
