Description: Part two of three of the Disquiet Junto collaboration project. This takes the C# electronic drone created by @alanblip and adds a drop-tuned guitar for a rhythm track. What will it sound like with a 3rd part, I wonder?

Here is a drone in C# major for Disquiet Junto. The filter cutoff frequencies are slowly modulated by hand to give it some breathing. Hopefully there's enough space for you to add additional parts to it. It's a stereo recording but I expect it to be panned partially or fully to the left 

Created on Elta Music Solar 42 "ambient machine" post-processed with some EQ to limit the frequency spectrum. Just got the Solar 42 yesterday so there is much to learn.

I worked with a cool drone track created by @tt15tt (blaroed), and added a panned right sequence created in Ableton Live 11 using K Devices TATAT and Slate+Ash Choreographs.  No other effects added except what was in the S+A plugin. This is in C Minor/A-flat Major.

A collaboration for Disquiet Junto. I based my track on week 2's track by @undermulden and @encym. I played some chords and synth arps from my Deluge in some of the spaces, while trying to maintain the sparse ambient feel of the originals.

As was the case last week, the instructions for this week’s project are fairly detailed, so please read them at disquiet.com/0638 15 (rather than me stuffing them into a post here).

This is the third phase of a three-phase sequence over the course of as many weeks during which, consecutively and asynchronously, musicians build trios together.

You can participate in any or all three of the three projects. If you participated in last week’s project, please note these two things:

    be sure to set your track as downloadable
    to avoid bot issues on Soundcloud, make sure its license is set to allow creative reuse

Also important: In normal circumstances, Junto projects have a one-track-per-participant limit. However, as with the preceding project that led up to this one, you can contribute more than one track this week. The details on that are in Step 5 of the project instructions 9.

This post popped up at disquiet.com/0638 9 (thanks, powers of automation) shortly after 12:10am Pacific Time on Thursday, March 21. (I was asleep at the time.) The email containing those instructions went out around the same time, also automatically, via juntoletter.disquiet.com.
