About a year ago I went on a deep dive into some of Nujabes' more obscure songs and stumbled across this song called "The Calling". It only contained one verse by Pase Rock and I couldn't find anything else about where this song came from. What's even more weird is that the instrumentals are from the Samurai Champloo album "Impression" even though the song never appears in the show.

Because of this, I was curious how it would sound if it was extended or at least having Pase Rock rap over it. I messed around with some vocal tracks of other songs by Pase Rock at first, but never felt like the first verse sounded right. Eventually I realized it would be best to use the original instead and combine it with what I had before. This is the first time I've put together anything in a DAW so hopefully you enjoy it.
