Do you sometimes get a feeling that people your age in the public eye, as well as family and people you know, are succumbing to the Grim Reaper with increasing frequency?  And you wonder how long you can continue dodging the bullets?  It was that feeling that gave rise to the lyrics for this song, which I then put into a blues-type setting.
