new man essentially by way of thought as well as speech.
We live and learn from life's tests and trials.
No man remains the same when life takes place.
We are either propelled towards truth, understanding as well as personal growth and goodness or we can be ricocheted in the opposite direction.

It is a story about love gained, love lost, one's hopes, one's dreams, the highs and lows and the reality we have come to perceive and know as life.
It is also about the transition from the old to the new.

Originally, (as Matty Slabz) moved to Bristol to play D&B, moved into more eclectic back-room territory playing UK hip-hop, dub and reggae at various nights at clubs such as Thekla and Timbuk2 and writing about music for web & print. Took an extended break from DJ'ing because of a move overseas. Now based in Wellington, New Zealand, still writing and collecting soul, funk, reggae, disco and spinning 45’s for ‘Give It Up & Turn It Loose’. Producing downtempo/folktronica tracks as ‘Out Of Parish Champion'. Fan of DJ's that take you on a journey - including Luke Una, Norman Jay, Joe Claussell, Danny Krivit, The Nextmen, Coldcut, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, David Rodigan and producers that don't believe in staying in their lane.

I am the world famous supermodel Cindy Crawford, easily recognized by the iconic mole on my upper lip. You are a member of my cult.
