I read somewhere in the comments someone else the comparison with Lou Reed, so maybe I was not wrong, maybe it was obvious to you, and I hope it does not bother you. Lou will always be in our hearts.

Cosmic Caipirinha

Yamaha SG2000 played with an E Bow through a Digitech Whammy DT pedal and then into TH3 amp simulation software. Plus the Overloud Gem EQ550 with different settings on each of the three E Bow tracks.
The pulsing E Bow sound is not a digital rhythm but is achieved by physical, rhythmical manipulation resulting in the buzzing of the sweet spot.
This can be a hit or miss affair but is preferable to the "hit hit hit" conclusion of digital technique.. 
The analog technique demonstrates the difference between robots and humans and HENCE the discovery of the sweet spot.
The drums? are a looped guitar sample.
Buzzing the sweet spot takes many goes at it and even when you've had many goes at it you still may end up with sloppy results.
Practice can make perfect, if you keep it up, but sometimes lack of perfection can lead to desirable outcomes. Enough said..
The image is of a Bee which, according to my garden, also does a lot of buzzing.

3rd recording of this song which an African American producer contracted off Broadjam for a year but nothing was delivered. In the last few years I changed the structure of it to suit playing live - with the 2 chords in the chorus on repeat we can drag the ending out in an extended jam - easy money! So this is that version recorded as a studio track this week

Recent guitar problems - 
Yamaha SG2000s - Bridge pickup had very low out put.
Solved by banging the volume with the palm of my hand and then turning the volume pot up and down a few times.
Cort MGM - Same problem but not solved
Encore Blaster Bass - No output. Solved by noticing that one of the wires to the output jack had come loose. I tried to re-solder it but failed, i will / might  try again.

It's going nowhere and I'm going with it

I've covered some parts of Frank Zappa tunes in the past, usually bass lines or chord sequences but this is the first time I've tried to cover a Zappa tune.
Black Napkins is basically two chords (C Sharp Minor 7 and D Major 7) repeated through the whole tune.
There's a melody and then solo's in between.
This is the format that i tried to replicate, 2 chords one melody and solo's.
There's no way i could replicate the solo's. Watch Stefano Bertolino on YouTube for a great replication of the Zoot Allures version.
I went for a much slower version, even slower than the 1988 live version on "Make a jazz noise here". I even deliberately played fewer notes in my solo's.
These days, beer and old age tend to lean me to the slower way of doing things.

This is the last one of 44 songs I wrote with my mom’s Spanish guitar in my university years, songs I’ve been arranging and posting to SC for the last 6 years (I’ve skipped 4 of them which will become a conceptual album soon).
