Los Angeles producer Justin Vilhauer debuts on SLAPPED with Too Much For Me, a masterclass three-track EP that showcases his remarkable range across deep tech, deep house, and minimal territories. 

The title track is a cover that transforms darkness into groove with deeper, sexier energy, while "Syncopated Notes" featuring Jack Roy and Lucy Branch epitomizes classy deep house sophistication. Closing with the jungle-influenced "Losing Minds," Vilhauer proves why his music SLAPS with memorable hooks that ignite dancefloors from 5 AM peak-time madness to introspective late-night sessions. This is house music as emotional release, reading like a love letter to LA's underground scene, each groove carrying traces of the city’s endless inspiration and the creative bonds that fuel it.

The flow of time leaves inescapable tracks to which belong different meanings, while memories fade as the sands continue their relentless march forward. The only thing in our power is to enjoy what has given us, choosing the best soundtrack for our lives. And thats precisely what Cristina Lazics new release is all about, as she returns to her throne after a few months hiatus with Watch The Time EP, which also includes two remixes by LondonGround and Simes. For LAZIC015, she embraces all her vibrant energy, providing two originals - one together with ABEL - that feature rubbery basslines, acid licks, spacey synths, and skippy grooves. On the remix duties, Argentinian top-producer LondonGround (elrow, SIGHT) takes things to the next level with an incredible take, crafting a bold, hypnotic version built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Closing with the Simes (DESOLAT, Tamango Records) remix, the rising German talent goes towards deeper lands by adding vibrant pads and an irresistible late-night feel. With these sounds, its easy to lose track of time.

TRUST marks the second chapter in my ongoing EP series – a journey through sound, growth, and creative confidence. Where the first release laid down the roots, TRUST begins to stretch further – bolder, more focused, and more open.

This EP is about something you don’t always see, but feel: trust in your own sound, in intuition, and in the quiet evolution that happens when you follow it. The title track captures that energy – stripped down, raw, and direct.

As a special addition, TRUST features a powerful remix by my longtime friend and collaborator Uniq Habits, who brings a whole new dimension to the track. There’s also a Bare Bones Mix by me – reduced to the essence, almost like a sketch – an attempt to reveal the track’s core in its most honest form.

This release continues to reflect my personal and artistic growth – unfiltered, evolving, and deeply connected.

Jose vilches - Sound Takeoff

Born in Peru and now based in Phoenix, Gio Lucca (ISO, Black Book, Deeperfect) is on a mission to make people dance and boogie, and the titled "Control" EP on La Zic is a testament to his commitment. With support from some of the industry’s best, such as Jamie Jones and Marco Carola, to name a few, Gio Lucca's ascent to the major stages seems to be inevitable and under... control.

Retro-house fat drums and funky disco jabs are the bread and butter on the lead track, while "Keep It Quiet" - in collaboration with Argentinian talent Julio Bravo - offers glitchy atmospheres, tight grooves, and deadly, pointy bass licks. The EP gets enriched by two remixes, with Proudly People delivering a rolling, tech version designed for the early hour moments on the terrace, while Lolu Menayed sets the tone with a dreamy, afterhours tool.
