Yollks, from Naarm, Australia, features with a guest mix on Episode 37 of our FILTH Invites series!

Yollks is the solo dance music project of local producer, DJ and vocalist, Elle Tayla, who also co-runs local label and club night 'Fluxx' alongside fellow DJs RBI and House Mum.

Drawing on elements of rave, footwork, bass, breakbeat and more, Yollks has had releases on labels such as Inner Theft, Local Knowledge, Spinning Around and Fluxx to name a few and has also created mixes for the likes of Steel City Dance Discs and Lobster Theremin.
 
Having recently supported internationally acclaimed artists HAAi, Tred, X CLUB. and AK Sports, Yollks is quickly becoming a name to take note of.

Tied together with catchy samples, rushing breaks, hard hitting electro hooks and dirty synths, Yollks’ sound ignites an air of euphoria whilst also allowing one to be grounded in fast paced beats and rhythm.

Das Krake Festival feiert sich 2022 über mehrere Tage und Locations vom 12. bis 21. August selbst und ist nach zwei Jahren Pandemie und einer volldigitalen und einer hybriden Ausgabe endlich wieder in der komplett analogen Welt angekommen. Ebenfalls in der physischen Welt ist das Kollektiv none/such mittlerweile anzutreffen, allerdings erst seit neuestem, da das junge interdisziplinäre Label vor Corona schlicht nicht existierte. Wie es sich anfühlt wenn man nach den Lockdowns das erste Mal das eigene Publikum trifft und wie man aus mehreren Städten und über die Kontinente hinweg Clubszenen bespielt, könnt ihr im Interview nachlesen. Toni Pfad is a Berlin based DJ originally from the depths of Bavaria where she was mainly involved in classical music during her youth. She had first intense contact with electronic music and various techno collectives during her years living in the heart of germany, Thuringia, a place with a distinct techno scene. For 5 years she has been a member and resident of the Jena based collective biotobt which was founded over 12 years ago out of friends and since then has been constantly organizing mainly open air raves as well as indoor parties and participates in various festivals. Over the years she played a number of gigs at events and festivals which led to the constant development and redefinement of her genre-fluid sound with influences from Electro, Breaks, Prog. House, Techno and Trance. 

In this mix she lets harmonies and rhythms flow into each other, creating euphoric but also melancholic moments.
