Undeniably one of my biggest inspirations, the ever-talented @kondukukonduku presents a mix in his signature style, a unique soundscape of charming rhythms and melodies.

I've been a big fan of the Konduku ever since his debut album, Kiran, on @nousklaeraudio in 2018. Since then, Ruben has released an impressive and diverse catalogue on labels such as Spazio Disposable, Delsin & Idle Hands, often drawing on his Turkish heritage.

Beyond his incredible productions, Konduku is known for long, mind melting and crafty DJ sets & mixes. His closing set at De School for ADE in 2019 was one of my favourite DJ sets to date!

Animix Sixty Six: Konduku

A mix from LOIF for the Animix series makes perfect sense. Declan ( @loiflan ) has the most incredible knack for weaving deep, layered, magical musical journeys, and is fast growing a name for himself as one of the most exciting up and coming producers in Melbourne.

In recent times, we've seen a slew of recent @loiflan releases on compilations for labels such as @ute-rec x @amniote-editions, @purespacefm and @local_knowledge, and incredible mixes for @pipipigroup, @neurocrankk and @steeplejackrec. After attending Labyrinth festival in Japan together a few years ago as avid music fans, which I can safely say inspired us both immensely, it's been amazing to watch Declan grow and evolve as an artist over the last few years, and really develop a unique style. 

Keep an eye out for a Loif release on Animalia coming later this year.

Local lords Julien Huynh & Will Holden deliver a tranquil live recording in their signature style for BSRMIX #120. Recorded live in their Melbourne based studio in 2021, the session is a proper trip through the hybrid lads growing arsenal of deep and dubby cuts. Expect heart warming basslines, luscious pads, intricate drum patterns and brain tingling soundscapes. Keep an eye and ear out for their next EP dropping on Butter Sessions Records mid 2022!

Formerly known as Sine Language, MOT reimagines himself. The Naarm (AU) producer ventures into deeper and darker waters with 3 new tracks chronicling the shedding of skin in reverse.

Arguing in a club returns MOT to familiar dub techno territory with a new edge, as atmospheric percussion bickers in rhythm over a hypnotic bassline while looping alarms raise the tension unbearably.

"The track comes from a VA encompassing tracks by 7 artists released by BLVSH, a Berlin-based collective committed to contributing to a much needed increase in the visibility of women, trans and non-binary folks and their blossoming in a still male-dominated clubbing scene.

Half of the tracks are from our crew members, while the other half are from guests dear to us. Active members of the FLINTGA* scenes and communities in Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

[FINTGA* stands for: Female, Lesbian, Inter, Non-binary, Trans, Genderqueer and Agender people]

All the benefits from the VA sales will be donated to NARUD (https://narud.org/)
NARUD e.V. stands for "Network African Rural and Urban Development" and is a migrant-diasporic organization active since 2005.

The main goals of the association in Germany, especially Berlin, are the promotion and self-empowerment of people in the African-migrant communities, the communication of cultural values ​​of African societies, the processing of the colonial past and colonial continuities, as well as the opening for an intercultural dialog.

adrian asher is a merman & producer/vocalist from Scotland Island, Australia. He curates the label BASS WATER FREAK OUT providing a platform for dark & playful G-Tek & G-Trance. Asher's ep HOUSE OF DOORS (HOD) is equal parts calm and psycho, just like the ocean which inspires him. HOD was recorded in the actual HOD, a small shack built of second hand doors in which asher grew up and now periodically takes to haunting. Since the HOUSE of DOORS was built by asher’s family, one thousand years have passed. The Ocean has risen and Swallowed the Land. Moray & Electric eels are the main residents of HOD now & asher’s ghost plays to them XxXx

Areliz Ramos, also formerly known as ‘Milkshlk’ (Female Pressure, Napp), is a producer from Peru who's musical storytelling skills are reflected in her carefully crafted mixes as well as in her versatile productions. 
 Her track ‘Rush’ for the first Warming Compilation is a beautiful piece to warm your heart during cold and grey days."

Warming, the introspective division of Warning, was launched by resident Mars Leder as an “off the (Rave) track” mix series in 2019. Since then the aim has been to provide warm vibes in a cold world to help us unwind in hectic times. We’re now expanding the
sub-project and present to you WARM01, the first Ambient music release on Warning. With seven mindfully selected tracks from Areliz Ramos, Yhdessa, Caldera, Premis, Lewi Boome, Vertical67, and Warning resident Philipp Otterbach with his new project KYN, a collaboration with Sebastian Eubel. The compilation aims to reflect the versatility of the genre, from mellow textures and floating voices to fractal patterns and rapturous basslines. Don’t expect any ordinary elevator music or beach cafe vibes - this one will be chill, but it’s still a Warning.

WARM01 comes as a digital compilation accompanied by a C90 cassette tape, including a DJ mix by Mars Leder featuring all tracks from the compilation plus an extract from Sam’s closing set of our 5Y Warning party in August 2022.

Born in Tehran, Real Mo started rapping when he was 14 years old. Now producing electronic music and especially techno, RealMo draws from his heritage by using Middle Eastern instruments in his tracks, and tries to convey feelings through sounds, without using words.

OML label was born out of Berlin's Open Music Lab inclusive community of creatives from various backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. It offers an opportunity for listeners to engage with unique blends of musical sounds that are enriched by different cultures and lived experiences outside of the mainstream.
