With the release of Bourbon legends, Devils and Dust effortlessly clash genres together to create something different all together. The full length album release is packed with alternative rock sounds, a country attitude, and a punk rock energy claiming rights too a style. Alternative Country. Lush but raw layers of guitars and vocals, catchy choruses, and tasteful vocal harmonies all pay tribute to how the record comes together as a whole. 

The first single "Texas", is an upbeat, fun, alternative rock song with the aesthetic of a classic rock single. The song works Americana and country instrumentation into a radio rock song as it builds and becomes something of a anthem. 

Another single "You Know Who You Are" is more of a swing pop rock song with a guitar hook and boasts a punch without going over the edge. Its  catchy rhythm bops along and keeps a certain energy while the melody and words tell a classic story. 

"You know who you are, is about the one that got away, and when I wrote it I wanted her to know it was about her, but now I'm kinda nervous about it, and almost changed the name before the release. Then I thought, oh well we'll just keep it. Both songs are heartbreak songs through the eyes of a good person who makes bad decisions. The  theme of the arrangements have a singer songwriter feel with a high energy behind it that stems from our passion for performing."

Jimmy Nelson and Brady Black met in the Austin music scene while performing in different bands. After realizing they both had a passion for musical diversity as well as performing, they began playing guitar with each other.It became immediately clear that writing songs together was a natural and easy process for them, and after accumulating a handful of songs, they decided it was time to perform for an audience and Devils & Dust was born. 

After releasing an acoustic EP "Liquid Courage", an all acoustic and vocal record, they got together to work on what would become the Bourbon Legends album. The first full band full length release from the band. 

Devils & Dust has opened for bands like The Ataris, and Mike Herrera of MXPX along with others. The band is planning an exclusive Texas tour for this spring and summer.

Regarded upon his 2006 arrival as a promising beatmaker looming in the shadows of J Dilla, Madlib, waterfalls and Dabrye, Steven Ellison -- known as Flying Lotus -- nullified all comparisons only two years later with Los Angeles. Ellison devoted a few years to various forms of film work and the operation of his revered Brainfeeder label, and returned in 2019 with Flamagra, his second consecutive album to top Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart.

GOD I LOVE MUSIC. thank god i am so often surrounded by such talented and beutifull people, who give there focus and love to pull together an expression here and there. My crib has become a part time refuge for makin beats, chillin hard, giving thanks, and remembering the golden rule' these songs are the feelings of different people chillin at different times, usually created within a few hours while the moment was full. after awhile there have become so many songs, i am so honored to share them and hang with these cats, life is good and We got this.
