This is a set I put together earlier this year which was meant to be played this summer at 230pm on the beach stage at The Pachena Bay Festival on Saturday. Due to what seemed to be an unfortunate surge from the generator, my USB hub got fried, and therefore I was unable to connect my laptop to my mixer. I was heartbroken. Thankfully I had some of the most important people in my life around me to keep me from a complete breakdown. 

After many attempts to get things to work, the decision was made to play on CDJs, through an external HD, which didn’t have the music for this set on it, so I had to quickly improvise. The set went well, people loved it, but I was left extremely frustrated and discouraged. 

In the 30 years I’ve been playing music, I’ve honestly never put so much time, effort and emotion into building a set as I have this one. After the unfortunate events, I vowed I’d never play this anywhere other than the setting is was meant for, but my amazing Estelle 💖 talked me into making this my first studio recording in almost 8 years, and I’m happy she did.

earning him the title of 'Godfather'.
Sleepy is renowned for mastering live remixing using an advanced 4-deck setup, creating
unique auditory experiences with every performance. He has graced high-profile festivals like
Shambhala, Electric Love, Atmosphere, Cumberland Wild, and the Pachena Bay Music
Festival, as well as intimate venues alongside local legends and international techno icons -
Raiz (Droid Behavior), Gary Beck (Bek Audio), and Chris Liebing (CLR).

Gemini Rentals, providing emerging artists access to top-tier gear. His dedication to innovation,

Nine lives ago Cataphonic’s keen ears first started mixing house music. The result was a quick ascension up the Victoria DJ circuit, while winning fans and inspiring dance floors alike. Driem (Aaron Handford) is a producer of organic electronica, deep house & downtempo bass whose festival credits include Burning Man, Pachena Bay, Valhalla Fest, Burn In The Forest, Otherworld, & SubLunar and releases on the Visionary Shamanics and Lump Records label.
 
He is inspired by the intersection of the traditional musical legacies of Africa, India, Europe and the Middle East with modern sample based electronic music making methods and is an active music producer. He enjoys collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists to co-create musical journeys. His artistic goal is to forge connections between the spheres of deep house, downtempo global bass music, jazz, and world rhythms.

Lately, she has been rediscovering her passion for Tech House, Nu Disco Deep House, Techno and Indie Dance, effortlessly weaving tracks that will undoubtedly ignite the dance floor and get people moving to the groove.

iLLith is an incurable music addict since childhood & she searches relentlessly around the globe to get her fix, fishing through the interwebs for the freshest in indefinable genre & next level sounds. When iLLith started playing piano at 4 years old, she began a lifelong love affair with the world of sound, has played 6 musical instruments, performing spoken word and been chronically communicating about music on community, pirate and globally streaming radio programs since her teens.
