A piece I did back in mid November 2020. Kind of a dark piece but struggling to find the light.

Journey to the Light

This trumpet and piano instrumental version was done back in April 2021. I always loved the way Joe Cocker did this song - so loving and gentle. I think we all have or had someone special who we think of in this way. That they are so beautiful to you. I did the trumpet part but the piano arrangement and playing was done by Doug MacKenzie from Australia. A true genius on the piano. Written by Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher

Over (Ft. Stefan Kraft)

Every night at 2:13 a.m., the old carousel at the edge of town begins to turn—slowly, deliberately—though no one is ever seen near it. The fairground was shut down decades ago, fenced off and forgotten, but locals swear they’ve seen the horses rising and falling in the dark, their chipped paint gleaming under moonlight.

There’s no power. No wind. Just movement.

Some say a child vanished there on the fair’s final night. Others whisper that the carousel was built with parts from somewhere… not quite right. It doesn’t thrash or scream. It moves gently, like it remembers how to bring joy—but has no one left to share it with.

It’s not violent. It’s not loud. But it spins, always at 2:13, like it’s waiting for someone to come back.

The Carousel

After the somber opening of the Pandemic Suite (part I) and the fanfare of endurance (part II), the suite now glides in Allegro through scenes of carefree joy— a vivid remembrance of days when life was still perceived without a shadow, and laughter moved freely through the air.

Pandemic Suite – 03. Transit

A dark, fateful opening ushers in the vast expanse of the Pandemic Suite. The bassoon strikes a motif of destiny— a solemn call, answered with heavy hearts by the string orchestra.
Inevitable, unrelenting, chord upon chord presses forward, until the music finds its root— the home key, like fate fulfilled.

Interim Breathing

This is the first in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short and inconclusive tracks, which I’ve assembled by working on new and reworking on some old material adding parts and sounds. 
Will anything actually happen in the end? Unlikely. Definitely not here. Here it’s a montage of bare arpeggios in various keys.
I recorded this some weeks ago: sorry about the guitar sound, the string squeak is a bit too much; now, I hope to have fixed that investing in a better and more expensive set of strings.
