Bubba Wants A Moon Pie

Every night at 2:13 a.m., the old carousel at the edge of town begins to turn—slowly, deliberately—though no one is ever seen near it. The fairground was shut down decades ago, fenced off and forgotten, but locals swear they’ve seen the horses rising and falling in the dark, their chipped paint gleaming under moonlight.

There’s no power. No wind. Just movement.

Some say a child vanished there on the fair’s final night. Others whisper that the carousel was built with parts from somewhere… not quite right. It doesn’t thrash or scream. It moves gently, like it remembers how to bring joy—but has no one left to share it with.

It’s not violent. It’s not loud. But it spins, always at 2:13, like it’s waiting for someone to come back.

I started my musical journey at the age of five, initially composing music with tablature taught by my father. Beginning with the penny whistle and violin, I played in our family band, busking on the streets of Bath.

Our travels across the country inspired compositions like "Road to Wareham." Music became my sanctuary, especially after being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In college, under mentors such as Dr. Rick Birley, Dr. Richard Hall, and Dr. Julie Trevett, I honed my skills in composition, theory, and piano, transitioning to formal music notation using Sibelius.

Today, I compose for film, video games, and theatre. My music, influenced by my diverse experiences, aims to evoke emotion and tell stories.
