ONDA SINUSOIDAL 
🌊 1. Definición y Naturaleza

Una onda sinusoidal es la representación más simple de una oscilación periódica.
Matemáticamente:

y(t) = A \cdot \sin(2\pi f t + \phi)

A (Amplitud) → Altura máxima de la onda. Controla la energía o volumen.

f (Frecuencia) → Cuántos ciclos por segundo (Hz). Define el tono.

t (Tiempo) → La variable que recorre la onda.

φ (Fase) → Punto de inicio del ciclo.


💡 Piensa en ella como la “célula madre” del sonido. Todos los sonidos complejos se forman sumando muchas de estas.

🎧 2. Propiedades clave

1. Pureza espectral
Una onda sinusoidal perfecta solo tiene frecuencia fundamental y nada más.


2. Relación frecuencia–tono

20 Hz → Subgrave profundo (se siente).

440 Hz → La4, nota de referencia musical.

8 kHz → Brillo y agudos finos.



3. Percepción humana
El oído humano capta aprox. de 20 Hz a 20,000 Hz.

3.1. Generación de sonido

Osciladores de sintetizador
Los módulos base generan seno, cuadrada, triangular, sierra. El sine wave es el más limpio.

Tonos de prueba
Se usan para calibrar sistemas de sonido y medir respuesta de altavoces.


3.2. Modulación

LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator)
Sine a frecuencias muy bajas (<20 Hz) para mover parámetros suavemente.
Ejemplo: modulación de volumen para efecto “tremolo” o luces que suben y bajan.

FM (Frequency Modulation)
Usar un sine wave para modular otro, creando timbres complejos (síntesis FM tipo DX7).


3.3. Visuales reactivos

Una onda seno puede mapearse a:

Movimiento vertical/horizontal de elementos gráficos.

Intensidad de luces DMX.

Color/escala en animaciones.

🔬 4. Física y conexión con la realidad

En el aire, una onda sinusoidal es una variación de presión que viaja como onda longitudinal.

En electricidad, una señal de audio analógica es literalmente una corriente que sube y baja siguiendo esa forma.

En luz y electromagnetismo, también encontramos ondas sinusoidales (aunque en audio trabajamos con Hz y no THz).

Superposición de sinusoides: suma de diferentes frecuencias = timbres ricos.

Beat frequency: dos sinusoides cercanas producen un pulso rítmico (batido).

Audio espacial: usar sinusoides en estéreo para generar sensaciones de movimiento.
