COEO are back on Toy Tonics! After uninterrupted touring around the globe, followed by a short creative break the guys come back with an even stronger sound. With the new EP they go more underground again. Its addressed to the clubs and night owls out there, who turn night into day and won't stop dancing! 

The sound is based on classic house patterns and includes a lot of cool saxophones, big piano stabs & rhythmic piano solos. They even go tribal, use arpeggios and switch into breakbeat heaven. The four Originals are a great next step in the COEO evolution. The unique warm, catchy atmosphere of the tracks can create that special COEO euphoria which made them a lot of fans. From Moodymann to Disclosure, Mall Grab to Kenny Dope, the list is long. 

It’s fantastic to see how popular they became over the last couple of years. The last COEO vinyl sold over 2500 copies and some of their tracks have millions of Spotify plays. It’s DJ FOOD. Pure bliss!

Fortunate to grow up around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him, Avision now finds himself helping to usher in a new wave of techno for the New York scene.  Over the last couple of years, he’s had releases on a range of influential labels like Ellum, Drumcode, Hardgroove, Machine, We Are The Brave, Mindshake, Intec, On Edge Society, and many more.  Support for his productions have been coming in strong from tastemakers like Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, Chris Liebing, Laurent Garnier, Joseph Capriati, and The Martinez Brothers to name a few.

Avision started young on the turntables at age 12, and his preference for a more mature sound lead to his first residency by the time he was 15. Recent touring highlights include gigs at The Brooklyn Mirage and Time Warp in NYC, Fabrik Madrid, Pacha Barcelona, Stereo Montreal, and Space Miami, as well as festivals like Elrow, The BPM Festival, and Dockyards in Amsterdam.

Avision’s legacy is growing through clubland like a supernova exploding in the farthest reaches of our galaxy…and he’s just getting started.

Luke Howard, James Hillard, Severino Panzetta and Jim Stanton are considering the connection between Love and Dancing, the title and twin driving engines behind their first artists’ album. Luke, James, Seve and Jim are the nightlife disciples behind Horse Meat Disco. In the 16 years their little Sunday soirée metamorphosed into a global phenomenon, HMD resuscitated the rich pulse, flavour and heart of dance music’s original bacchanal, handing it back in a frosted cocktail glass to the LGBTQ community disco first embraced. Their names are quite simply synonymous with Good Times.

‘We wanted the record to be about going out and coming home,’ says Luke. ‘From the beginning to the end of the night.’ At HMD, the communion of love and dancing braids seamlessly into one intricate knot. ‘For me, the idea of going out was always connected to the idea that I might meet somebody on the dancefloor. You go out with this hope, that you’ll have a good time but also that there might be somebody there, waiting for you at the end of it.’

Love and Dancing is a sensational, scholarly, elastic skirmish through the outer edges of disco, from soulful to cosmic, hands to the sky glamour and heads down boogie. Sample light, cover version free and diligently star-studded from across disco’s sparkling prism, it is the sound of here and now, nodding to the past while rollerblading into a brighter tomorrow, forever disco’s fleet-footed purpose.
