It is a safe bet to say that the Londonian duo Krywald & Farrer (a.k.a. K&F) needs no introduction. The story began when Ed & Jack first casually met in the mystical little party hidden in the middle of the woods as they have been both Gottwood regulars since day one. In 2012, Percolate nightclub became the breeding ground for their fertile relationship as they officially decided to join forces there. Actually, those guys embody what going B2B quintessentially means or, in other words, the art of polymerizing two entities to bring a tastier and stronger one to life. As lifetime residents there, they have invariably been aiming to throw unpretentious parties where having fun defines the main focus, while keeping high-profile line-ups (Peach, Hunee, Midland or Leon Vynehall) all along the journey. When it comes to production and DJing, K&F feel free not to stick to one genre and tirelessly explore warm old afro, latin, jazz, disco and house grooves. Through their PERSIES, REPSIES and Top Pocket Records labels, they make it a point of honour to rework a selection of beloved gems from the past to unaffectedly turn them into contemporary and party-inclined tunes.

During DGTL Festival 2014 the founder of Stil Vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki will be laying down his deeply melodic sound that has made its mark on the global dance scene for the better part of the last decade. 'I am O.K.' reads the title of Koletzki's upcoming album. In 2014, after 26 years as a musician, he clearly achieved what he set out to do. In the spring his new album drops, he's touring the US, and then he’ll be moving the studio and office to Berlin's Holzmarkt. Hypothetically he could have a bit of a rest, but he wouldn't think of it, cause he's having way too much fun.

Long-time residents of San Francisco, the Bachelors of Science trio are renowned in the drum & bass world for creating a unique blend of floor ready, functional d&b. Rene, Chris and Lukeino have all worked together on the project for a long time already, having released their debut album, <em>Science Fiction</em> back in 2008, following it up with Warehouse Dayz two years later. They’re also the latest artists kind enough to put together a mixtape ahead of their appearance at Bukem In Session (they’ll be appearing in Room Two on Friday 30th May) and over their 35 minute selection they manage to get across a whole heap of what they’re about with a deft selection of their own material peppering the tracklist…

To be completely honest, we know about as much about Escape as you do at this point, aside from the fact’s that he’s from Glasgow and has recently been discovered by Aus Music's Will Saul who’s lined him up for a series of EPs in 2015. It’s fair to say that we trust the taste of the label boss considering he's been bringing his sound to Room Two for years now, so we were more than willing to give the green light to the fledgling producer's debut set here this coming Saturday night for the next Aus Music takeover on Room Two.

To give us an indication on what he or she is about, Escape has dropped us an exclusive mix and from what we can hear it’s telling of a sound that's texturally rich, big on the emotive melodies and doesn't hold back from employing rolling bass lines in the right spots. This for us sits neatly alongside the roster on his newly found home of Aus and we're certainly eagerly waiting to hear what's in store from this new talent.

Happy new year, my friends.
Given the nature of my gigs and timeslots over the last few months, I've been buying and playing a lot of "club music" which has been reflected in the sets I've been releasing. I love playing dance floor tunes, but I'm still collecting music I love that's fit for at-home listening, opening slots, and afterhours...most of which has been sitting untouched in my music collection these last few months.

So it's been nice taking the time to do this studio mix that dusts off the tunes that haven't been getting any love. The glitchy, ambient, lofi-housey, and minimal stripped grooves. Some things that are slightly different than what I've been playing, slightly different than what you've been hearing. Hope you dig.
