Husband and wife duo the Sawtelles are a balance of four elements, alternate-tuned guitar, various drum kit configurations, and two voices. Sparse but intricately arranged pop that is as lush as it is threadbare makes what is played as important as what isn’t.

Their fanatical true indie self-produced DYI philosophy aligns them more with the hand painted Sun Ra LP’s of 1950’s and 60’s then it does with those striving for mainstream commercial success.

Songwriter and finger-style guitarist Daniel Bracken plays music informed by his rich history as a recordist and producer for Public Media, and as a performer in the US and Ireland.
In recent years Dan has delved deeper into personal songcraft, a wholehearted mix expressing the crossroads of spirituality, wistfulness, and humor. 
His songs embrace many of the storytelling qualities of traditional Irish and American roots music.

Written and performed by Molly McGinn. Born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas to a John Deere combine dealer, McGinn is an award-winning journalist and musician living in North Carolina.
