Hello everyone! Welcome to “Deltarune: Switching Suits.”
This is the BelowExchange (@silverswap) take on Deltaswap, only things function a little differently here than they would in a “traditional” Deltaswap take. The “Switching Suits” implies that almost all of the swaps are related to the suits of cards. This means that some of the Darkners don’t swap, and none of the Lightners do. However, it is still connected to BelowExchange via some key story details, which will become more apparent as this project goes on. Though this is technically the last song on the soundtrack, we figured it’d be cool to put it out first because it was the first Deltarune song the public ever got to hear (since it came out with the PS4 version a year before Deltarune).

So anyways…yeah! Updates coming…whenever?

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore II, the Betrayed Undyne ending, details an ending in which Frisk ruins their streak of pacifism right before the end, slaying the celebrity robot Mettaton on live television. Toriel has taken her ex-husband Asgore's place after his death, and she struggles to maintain morale in an increasingly wary underground. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends. At least...in theory.

Undyne takes the role of Sans. Her house has burned down, her precious guard has disbanded, her crush has mysteriously vanished...she's just about out of hope. Now she works for Sans selling hot dogs, and lives on the Skelebros' couch. Her fighting spirit is completely gone...after all, revenge won't bring anyone back.

The Long Elevator replacement comes much earlier in the soundtrack. The elevator to the capital (which is the actual "Long Elevator") is just a flight of stairs. But the elevators that carry you across Hotland are replaced by the Gap Bird, and that's where this plays. Make sense? Cool cool.

Exactly two weeks after the release of the first variation's menu theme, here's the second! This one doesn't do as much in the way of motifs, and instead spends most of its time just building on the base motif (with a few bonuses added near the end). Hope you enjoy!

Burgerp-- I mean "Boomstick," the name he insists he be called at all times, takes the role of Undyne. After his boss's untimely demise, he had a complete image change. He's gone from a dead-end frycook to a tough-as-nails greaser, roaming Waterfall with his newfound posse causing chaos. Just don't ask him where he came from.

While this does replace Memory, neither Asgore nor Asriel takes the Asriel role. Frisk does. The context of the scene is slightly different.
