Smigonaut aka Josh Kipersztok is a producer and DJ who combines the power of bass-heavy electronic music with the finesse of jazz and hip-hop. He produces beats, downtempo, drum & bass, and more with a style that is refined and psychedelic yet playful and fun. From 2014 to 2020, he performed throughout the Northeast U.S. and released several EPs and singles. He caught the attention of discerning audiences and was nominated for Dance/Electronic Artist of the Year at the 2020 Boston Music Awards. After relocating to Los Angeles, Josh released his debut LP Antithesis with The Rust Music in 2022 which has seen a sold-out vinyl release and more than 800,000 digital streams to-date. He has since performed in every region of the U.S. and supported acts including Koan Sound, Jade Cicada, and Spoonbill.
