A South west based, multi genre dj/producer, mainly specialising in mixing Drum and bass, Hard Trance, Prog, Minimal techno and Tek. IN-SAYN’s style and music variety is heavily influenced by the Free party movement. Any feedback is very much appreciated.

Yarrr me hearties!!! Ahoy, and welcome aboard the wacky, watery world of Smiley Pirate Music! A smiley, psychedelic, ship on its musical maiden voyage, floating atop a sea of influences. At the helm is the Smiley Pirate himself, Hugh Walker, setting sail from the Norfolk Broads and currently docked in Bristol’s central harbour.



The sound of the ship is built from mighty oaks, with their roots deeply founded in Dub Reggae, their branches reaching towards the sonic geometries of Psychedelic Trance, and swirling, luscious, soundscapes and atmospheres blowing through their leaves. The boom of the nation’s sound systems fills its sails, as it journeys forth in the hope of bringing a sense of peace, love, and unity, to all in her wake.



Operating with Fractal Soundsystem throughout the Smiley Culture of the late '00s, Smiley Pirate felt a calling for music production as strong as the pull to the sea. Following a successful launch at Access to Music Norwich, he chartered a course for the craggy coves of the Westcountry and is now honing his skills further at dBs with a BA (Hons) in Electronic Music Production, while still taking the time to perform his creations live at various events, and professionally master other producers' music.



Smiley Pirate has also thrown his hook to sound engineering, working alongside Live Business with TUI Family Life and P&O Ferries in various wonderful countries; including Croatia, Cyprus, and Holland thus far. In the future, he hopes that the musical winds that blow will carry the ship to the far-flung corners of the globe, over each of the seven seas, to reach and build as big and beautiful a crew as ever there was.



So, with all that said and done, grab yer grog, and with a shanty or two in your hearts, weigh the anchor, hoist the colours, heave-ho, and all-hands-on-deck as we set sail on another Smiley adventure. Lest ye be a landlubber…

Prizm, also known as Dj Skittles, is an accomplished DJ and emerging producer in the underground dance scene in the UK. He is highly recognized for his exceptional jungle and hardcore sets, although he is versatile and can play any genre. Prizm Aka Dj Skittles began his career in 2011 as a performer for Azma Sound System, FTP and Party Ard along with many other guest slots in various club and free party settings. He has since gained popularity and is now a regular performer at festivals such as Illusive Festival and Tear Out as well as playing for many event's up and down the UK and even France. Additionally, he has become a resident DJ for Submission Audio, Amen Warfare, and Karizma. As well as a prime time weekly slot on the Long standing Eruption Radio. Despite the challenges of 2020, Prizm utilized the quiet period to develop his production skills resulting in successful releases on Junglecat Records and Foot Long Records.
