Performing and producing since 2017, ottoman.grüw’s tracks are emotionally rich; they involve abrasive textures, industrial drums and sounds from another dimension. At the crossroads of punk-techno, electronica and rave, the music of ottoman.grüw contains a disorienting vitality, blurring the lines between underground dance music and experimental. Atmospheric and at the same time characterized by relentless rhythms, it offers to who listens an immersive journey with a deep emotional response.

Dilemma Podcast #030 Pooja B from India.Pooja B is an Indian artist who has been a resident at Analog Room, a weekly underground party with a cult following in Dubai, where she was based because of her flight-attendant job. Now DJing for over a decade she has played several festivals and clubs in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She co-founded The EQ Way collective in India and curated 'The EQ Way' radio show on Flux Music (Berlin), which provided a platform for female-identifying & queer artists to showcase their music to a wider audience. She hosts a bi-weekly radio show called ˜ikigai” on India’s primary community radio, Boxout.fm which is a skittish time-space journey diving into the void of dark industrial techno.



Pooja B releases her music under the alias “ikigai”. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being".  The word translated to English roughly means "thing that you live for" or "the reason for which you wake up in the morning. Her reason for being is to make people dance.
In a short time, she has had releases on Sonata Music, Underdub Records, Fabrik Music, SMR Underground, Fehlr Musik, 22.2 and 2 Bandcamp self-releases. She also takes a firm stand against racism, sexism & climate change & expresses her sentiment via protest tracks about these causes.
