Melbourne based rising talent Benjamin Stendell aka Solar Suite FKA Reallynicedad in controls for guest mix #87. With releases on Gestalt Records and Rodeo already under his belt his cosmic take on forward-thinking electronic music is bound to raise interest this year with as string of releases in the pipleine. His solo debut vinyl is coming on my Echocentric Records label (@echocentricrecords)  late 2020/early 2021 and it's going to be massive. Benjamin mixed a really nice (pun intended!) set of breaks, bleeps and cosmic synths.

Timo picked up DJing in the late 90’s and started curating the long running podcast series deeprhythms.com in 2001. Most recently he started Echocentric Records and joined Coymix Ltd. Always working with one thing in mind: to dig a little deeper. 

For the ZeeZout podcast series he choose the ethereal, somewhat cosmic end of the electronic music spectrum to recreate that dance floor vibe we’ve all been missing greatly.

First Snippcast of the year recorded by Timo Deeprhythms from Helsinki. Timo is the owner of one of the most interesting labels from the last couple years - Echocentric Records and co-owner with Steffan Todorović at Coymix Ltd. Timo also runs his Deeprhythms blog with podcast and interview platform which has almost a hundred episodes by musicians, labelowners and djs from all over the world. It's very nice to start the new year just like that. Have a nice time with listening of Snippcast number 12.

Timo Deeprhythms - SNIPPCAST #12

Takeshi Kouzuki returns to ALLEY VERSION label for sharing with the brothers duo FLML, the split mini-LP “Tracks From The Alley”.

From his early cult releases for Mathematics Recordings, Takeshi Kouzuki, as in these new tracks, keeps crossing old school house with his recognizable classy signature.
The warm but hitting acid of “福”, opens the Takeshi Kouzuki’s side, while in the second track “1986” deep-and-dark synthetic magic atmospheres are driven by the beating of the twins TR707 and TR727 drum machines. “Yellowacid” burns in its acid-jackin’ madness.

Openig FLML’s side “Hot Spread” is obscure jackin’ techno mechanical psychedelia, the following “Jack That Strings” is a pure raw windy city deep‘n’acid track. In the closing “Does Mean It’s You” a freaky FM synth melody is driven by the pulsing of liquid and creepy analog synths and drums, while an 8-bit sampled Andy Warhol’s speaking fragment marks the space, until dies in a delay feedback.

“Tracks From The Alley” is released exclusively on limited 12” vinyl.
