Doc, who recorded the first Hip House song (“It’s Percussion”) in 1987 with Steve Silk Hurley, presents 2 Raw, the Hip Hop group who proved to be ahead of their time with this now classic Hip House gem.  The sassy vocal flows of Pam Bergans and Sheda Robertson stand up to every track in this package.  Produced by legendary artists and songwriters in their own right, M. Doc and Jamie Principle, “We Got The Funk” is every bit Hip House.



The icing on the cake is the remix treatment by ID Records owner Steve Silk Hurley, who takes the Hip House Jam and transforms it into a Deep House Anthem which still stands the test of time today.
