Trikk er en elektrisk sporvogn, men brukes også om skinnegangen og øvrig infrastruktur (sporveien, trikkelinjen). Begrepet benyttes særlig om sporvogner (og sporveier) i bygatene (bytrikk), men brukes også om enkelte forstadsbaner og bybaner med tilhørende materiell. Navnet kommer av da elektrisk drift ble innført i Kristiania 3. mars 1894, og den elektriske sporveien på folkemunne ble kalt «elektrikken», snart forenklet til «trikken»[1]. Kortformen "trikken" nevnes i en annonse i Aftenposten så tidlig som 7. mai 1894, drøye to måneder etter innvielsen. I Drammen kaltes trolleybussene for trikken. I dag kjører de fleste trikkene på 600 eller 750 V likestrøm i kjøreledningene.[trenger referanse] Kombitrikker kan også kjøre på den ordinære jernbanens strømnett – dvs. 15 kV vekselstrøm i Tyskland, hvor den moderne kombitrikken ble utviklet.

“Trudge” alludes to the weird disconnected-yet-superconnected reality that envelopes us all day, every day. We wade through a mire of strangely polished ‘normal’ on every social medium we consume, and then can’t work out why we feel so substandard all the time. We voraciously seek the positive feedback that is designed to suck us in and keep us coming back for more. We scroll, and scroll, and scroll, and scroll. What will it take for us to stop and look up? Or will we all slowly fall into the void?
