ÜNAM is a member of the Artist Collective, Territorio Slow, along with MOM, Holed Coin and Charlie M. Hailing from Malaga, the entire collective makes appearances at parties, often alongside Tribu Oro.
The Silence EP is their second, following the remix Tribu Oro did for ÜNAM's Bella, The Spider.  They've always wanted to collaborate due to their mutual respect of each other's creativity, feeling the results could only be beautiful.
Silence is the result.
After attending a silent retreat, ÜNAM was inspired by the powerful personal experience that Tribu Oro had also previously felt. Both artists are on a spiritual path that has joined for this moment in time and the lyrics of Silence are in their respective languages, reflecting their personal beliefs.

Premiere | Tribu Oro & ÜNAM | Silence Ft. Sofia Lorena (Marcelo Berges remix) [Sofa Beats]

It was a sunny day with a cool breeze that Rabih was enjoying on the beach when he spied a big, beautiful crab trying to take shelter in a mollusk shell and make it home for at least a while. 

This inspired his idea to produce a track that blends organic and inorganic sounds heard in 'Nacre,' where the acid lines take over throughout the track yet sitar and melodic components bring us back to the traditional instruments.

Ketlag is a track Rabih finished in a couple of sessions with a very clear idea of its direction from the very beginning. The reverberated lush piano transports listeners to a different realm.

Beside the two mesmerising original tracks, you can delve into and immerse yourself in the individual universes of four talented artists: Leonor, Serkan Eles, Watt the Fox and Kapoor.

About the EP-*
Once or twice a year, typically after it rains, flamingos gather in a large crowd and start to rave. In a ritualistic shimmy to find mates, they spin their necks side to side, tapping their toes, puttering left and right, and moving together as one adorable pink platoon. Like humans, they even preen before the big dance, using their beaks to apply “makeup” (pigment secreted from their posteriors) to make their feathers extra bright.
The artist recorded the oud and Bansuri flute for the track when he was high on shrooms 😉

Saafi Brothers are an electronics oriented outfit that perpetuates trippy vibes and calming atmospheres. The musicians enhance their palette with pumping rhythms and inauspicious treatments amid quaint melodies. They effectively meld elements of the visual with lucid soundscapes and blissful themes.

The Saafis returned to the studio in 2000, delivered their second longplayer on Blue Room Released, 'Midnight’s Children'. The album represented another perfect demonstration of the Saafi-style made up of the will to experiment and get deep into low-down dub and beats, that get the tunes rocking.

Chilled psy-trance elements merge with mystical dub and ambient interludes as well as ethnically inspired tribal percussions.

Apu Punchau or "Apu" is the first single from History of Colour's debut album Antumbra set to be released on Shika Shika on the 21st of May.

After the unexpected success of their last EP “ Calidoso”, History of Colour, AKA @barriolindo and @el-buho, is back to present their debut album, “Antumbra”. 

These two producers, who have each made a name for themselves in the Latin American downtempo electronica scene, have been slow-roasting this eight instrumental track release for the past two years. Since they started to collaborate, their creative processes have always been done remotely. Though this album started like this, they took the opportunity to come together in person for different sessions.

On the album the duo explore a new path, one that envelops the essence of their South American musical inspirations with darkly happy melodies and psychedelic arpeggios. Featuring German talent M.RUX, frequent Shika Shika collaborator, and Portuguese composer MaguPi, “Antumbra” writes the next chapter of this musical brotherhood.

An argentinean producer/luthier and a British producer/environmental activist joined by the love of traditional music and slow electronics, under the premise of “music without borders”. This led to the birth of the Shika Shika collective some five years ago but also their collaborative project, HIstory of Colour. Since 2013, Agustin Rivaldo (Barrio Lindo) and Robin Perkins (El Búho) been working together under the premise of finding and tuning their crossover sound as History of Colour.

Shika Shika Collective will also release the project that encapsulates the beginnings of the collective on vinyl for the first time.
