Symbiosis (from Greek συμβίωσις, symbíōsis, "living together", from σύν, sýn, "together", and βίωσις, bíōsis, "living") is any type of a close and long-term biological interaction between two different biological organisms, be it mutualistic, commensalistic, or parasitic. 

The organisms, each termed a symbiont, must be of different species. 

Symbiosis can be obligatory, which means that one or more of the symbiosis depend on each other for survival, or facultative (optional), when they can generally live independently.

Symbiosis is also classified by physical attachment. When symbionts form a single body it is called conjunctive symbiosis, while all other arrangements are called disjunctive symbiosis.

 When one organism lives on the surface of another, such as head lice on humans, it is called ectosymbiosis; when one partner lives inside the tissues of another, such as Symbiodinium within coral, it is termed endosymbiosis.

TIP Record's DJ/Producer Lucas O'Brien is back with the sequel to his highly acclaimed, chart-topping compilation 'Avant Garden' (2015) which features a selection of tried and tested sonically diverse tracks by some of his favourite artists that he's been playing in his DJ sets worldwide. For this project, Lucas sourced music from what he considers the most cutting edge, pioneering producers on the scene - Hallucinogen, Raja Ram, Ingrained Instincts, Outsiders, Laughing Buddha, Martian Arts, Earthspace, Audio Unit and Everblast - as well as being substantially involved in the production side himself under his various guises: 'SuperModule' (his solo project), 'Mandelbrot' (his project with Celli 'Earthling') and 'Sybarite' his project with Ric Featherstone. The compilation begins with one of Lucas' trademark introductions, once again collaborating with label founder Raja Ram. Designed to tickle the eardrums and get your body moving, Avant Garden II represents the flow of a psychedelic trance dance party by kicking off with a slower and groovier vibe, then building up the pace and intensity steadily as the album progresses... eventually reaching a more night-time style peak, whilst still keeping Lucas' characteristic funky element in the tunes. Towards the end of the album, the music transitions into a more dawn friendly style to land you safely onto a blissful cloud of psychedelia. As was the case with the first Avant Garden, Lucas used the exquisite artwork of TIP favourite visionary artist Brahma Templeman, this time commissioning a painting exclusively for the cover which illustrates a beautiful psychedelic garden. 2015 will see German techno mainstay Stephan Bodzin ready to unleash his next full-length musical vision on the world. Entitled “Powers of Ten”, the 10-track album will land in June 2015 on his own Herzblut Recordings and provides another great insight into the melodically rich muscle mind of this modern great.
Says Stephan Bodzin of the LP: “Powers of Ten has been with me all my life and is named after a book that has been my background hiss, its confusing truth is my only real faith and its infinity shows me its finiteness. The album is about harmonies, melodies, rhythms. It is an homage to Bob Moog, full of techno beats and sounds and space and party and ecstasy and dancing and listening, and crying and feeling. It is a journey, a philosophy of life, a view of the world, a vague perception. It is my wife, my children, my family, my friends, my passion, my enemy, my greatest fulfillment, my fear, my deepest peace, my power, all my love.”
As such, this album is hugely personal and is filled with cerebral messages and well thought out concepts. All this shines through and makes it an all the more engaging listen from start to finish. Kicking off with the spine tingling chords and louche beats of ‘Singularity’ cuts like ‘Lila’ then continue to confirm that Stephan Bodzin has a classical understanding of melody that is way beyond your average.
‘Blue Giant’, ‘Wir’ and ‘Ix’ all manage to be uplifting and thoughtful at the same time as driven and groovy, whilst ‘Birth’ comes on with a hymnal high note, long tailed pads and subtly shifting beats. The ghostly grooves of ‘Zulu’ mark a majestic mid point to the album, which then continues to seduce with spiritual synths and more beautiful melodies on cuts like ‘Odyssee’ as well as the album’s standout title track.
Unfolding coherently and in soothing fashion, this album once again proves that few producers in the modern world have a knack for melody and an ear for sonic ingenuity quite like Stephan Bodzin.

Spiral Trax and world renown Slovene DJane Gaby combine magical energies to present the 4th and magical chapter of the much loved progressive psychedelic trance series HEALING LIGHTS. This episode is the brightest shining journey yet, created to touch many hearts and remind everyone about the beauty in us and in the world and to still believe there is hope for even more better days on this amazing planet we live on, as always resonating the message of harmony. This episode presents a well-balanced line up including some very well established producers as well as the cream of the new crop of new comers. Starting out with a heartfelt audio meditational message from Gaby and Suduaya we are introduced to the theme. With Soulearth and Dream Surface kicking it up a notch the door is open. Now Shogan will free your mind while Norma Project conveys a message of Hope. Ascent climbs higher with Rise & Shine. While Sonic Wave Control is beyond the reach of some with Out Of Touch. E-Mov and Sonic Elysium keep it going with Inertia. Mind Lab (aka Alchemix) launches us into Space, while Tat feels the Vibration. Twin Sonic orbits high Out Of Sight. And finally the smooth returns us to the photonic particles we were manifested from with Macaw – Lightwaves. The main intention was to unite amazing brilliant artists and create a beautiful journey and message coded in the medium of music, where you could feel the positive energy and love through the sound. In July 2007 she released her first compilation “HEALING LIGHTS. The aim was to create a musical journey with positive messages behind them. 2011 the second HEALING LIGHTS was born, after a fantastic feedback of the first. It was created as a charity CD to support children in need. At the end of 2014 HEALING LIGHTS 3 manifested with another blissful music journey from progressive to melodic Psytrance! Now finally in the spring of 2016, the fourth edition is born and again created with many beautiful artists and the healing lights family grows much over the last years. E

Elena Kulstof is pianist, composer, producer and dj.
With a great passion for music, she showed her talent from an early age writing musicals for school projects. Later on she finished the Music School of Corfu and graduated in Electronic Music Production at SAE Athen, in Greece.
From her very first release in Plasteline Recordings , Elena showcases her music skills and emotional character, combining dramatic and orchestral sounds with analog and digital synths, creating unique melodies, dreamy arpeggios and dancing techno grooves.
Elena Kulstof is going to spread some of her work with the track 'Desert of Fears', a lovely track full of power and to complement this huge track, Eleven of July, Ntsha & Mila Journée gave us three amazing remixes.
