The monthly Cosmicleaf series’ next episode will be presented by CAYO LARGO.

It was in 1995 when Cayo Largo first started playing music in the local venues of his city. The tracks which he chose in that era were mainly house with a small touch of progressive house. He started music production in 2005 with different monikers, mainly producing progressive house. There were numerous influences as the years went by and in 2010 he made an attempt in the field of downtempo music production, where he experiments with various music genres (chill, breaks, deep, lounge).
In 2012 his first downtempo EP came out at Stellar Fountain, with deeper rhythms. In 2013, he meets his friend Themistokles (Themi Undergrove) and their mutual love for music has them collaborating, thus it is not long until their first EP together in a more Tech House attitude, reaches the audiences from Kick and Beat Records. This collaboration goes on, when in 2015 their first personal album ( Cayo Largo & Themi Undergroove – Stigmes) gets released from Midnight Soul (Rosario, Argentina). After a 20-year course, Cayo Largo has established Deep,Funky, Break, Chill, Tech House and sometimes more Techno rhythms in his sets.

Next step is his second album, this time at Cosmicleaf records from Athens, Greece. The album ‘The Notes Of My Soul’ also includes a collaboration with longtime friend Shocker and will see the light of day on November 2016.

Sofa Beats Series continues w/ Portugal duo ZEN RACOON by the artists also known as Zen Baboon.

Zen Racoon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the 70`s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction. Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s. Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, ( ̈DJ Henriq ̈) and producer in 2001. They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Racoon.

DIMITRI is playing on the Main Stage w/ Deedrah (as Dimitri DKN) and also as Dimitri Nakov on the Pumpui stage, for which you can warm up with his psychedelic techno mix for radiOzora. Before the mood-making tunes, you can also catch a talk with the artist about the life, the universe and anything in between.

It’s been another hectic summer season of DJ’ing for Ibiza resident Dimitri Nakov. Having worked hard with his good friend Sasha to establish their superb parties at Kumharas, the positive vibes have been flowing freely. A blueprint for this year’s success story was developed at Dimitri’s extended Saturday sessions at the Sunset Ashram hotspot that has been established as one of the island’s best chilled destinations over the past 2 years. Then there’s his regular Tuesday night mix show on the island’s finest radio station – Ibiza Global Radio.
Its a wonder then that Dimitri has found time to get creative in the studio, but with a steady stream of EPs and remixes set to be unveiled over the coming months, his dedication will add even more weight to his reputation as being one of the finest DJ/Producers on the scene today.

Having left London in for the more exotic climate of Brazil, Dimitri built a very strong reputation and established himself over a relentless 7 years of non-stop touring, playing (literally) every main event both there and also increasingly in Japan, Australia, Mexico…
In Japan helped set up Big Beach Tokyo. Fat Boy Slim played most, hence the name, along with Sasha, Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Carl Cox and more. Ahead of the curve, they also featured a DC10 stage.

When the giant rave scene reached its peak, Dimitri moved over to the clubs, becoming a resident at Brazil’s legendary Warung Club, playing highly influential extended sets and building his strong reputation across the south of this large country, featuring at Cocoon parties, and alongside Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and many more.

By 2009, a move back to Europe beckoned, and the following summer Dimitri started Never Say Never at what was originally the Ushuaia Beach Club (now Hotel), Ibiza, with Sasha. The event was a huge success and over 4 summer seasons, the duo brought in many excellent acts that would not normally play there. Dimitri also masterminded the legendary after parties, filling the party like never before and playing alongside guests such as Steve Bug, Ame, Steve Lawler, Booka Shade, Sneak, Sasha, Teifschwarz… The full list is almost endless, with most coming to play the parties for free, such was their reputation as being the best on the island.

When the summer season in the Northern hemisphere ends, Dimitri heads South for his second summer of the year, returning to Brazil….

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show.

Swain’s music can travel you to distant beautiful places, it is full with sensual and lovely sounds – no wonder, he is crazy for deep/dubtechno sounds as well. His taste can be best described as surreal undergound quality electronic music dressed in our times soutane.

Since his first release in 2014, his fascination to experiment with technique and technology has continually expanded his prowess as an artist. A heavy focus on live performance saw the birth of his debut album ‘Escape The Remedies’. The album was released in January 2015 via the Berlin label Crossfrontier Audio with the official album launch held at Watergate, Berlin.

With each new release, MUUI has continued to gain the support of some of the most respected artists and media in the industry. Outside of the studio since 2016 MUUI has shared his live act and DJ sets in Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey, Mauritius, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Thailand and the USA.

Through The Chaos. Perfect Consequences. Accidents and Choices. We are Here Now. Opposite Ways is an Italian-based duo from Milan comprised of Gabriele Bianchi and Gabriele Pavanati. To broaden their knowledge of electronic music, each member attended the Nut Academy in Naples where they found their sonorous imprint in melodic house.
A year later they landed their first EP on Three Hands Records, followed by another on Konfluenz Audio. Later they returned to Three Hands Records with their 'Nothing Is Lost' EP which includes a powerful remix by Modal, then their track 'Arrival' on Awen Records. Their first collaboration with the Mexican duo MIHØLNIR, led them to signing with Us & Them Records, which gained massive support from great artists such as Blancah, Amare, and Paul Anthonee. Following that, they also worked with OBENMUSIK and AddictedMusic and in 2019, they received support from the likes of Tale Of Us, Undercatt, Fideles, Fur Coat, Øostil and Soel, thanks in part to their 'Apparat-Brandenburg' edit and releases on Prisma Techno, WOOD and Venom Recordings.

This is my newest set. It's a slowed down journey through the misty woods in autumn. The tempo is a bit slower than usual, but I thought 114BPM describe the mood of a dusty and misty wood perfectly. So please enjoy "Misty Woods" :-)

Wir leben (immer noch) in einer Zeit, wo sich Menschen aufgrund einer anderen Hautfarbe, einer anderen Religion oder einer anderen politischen Einstellung, gegenseitig bekriegen. 

Egal wo man hinschaut, überall Gewalt, Terror und auch Mobbing, weil Leute "anders" sind. 

Traurige Welt...

Mit ein bisschen mehr Nächstenliebe und Respekt, könnte man diesem Wahnsinn etwas Einhalt gebieten. 

"Leben und leben lassen!"  ist daher auch der Titel zu meinem neuen Set!
