Alex alias Sidamo Soundsystem steigt mit uns ein vorletztes Mal in diesem turbulenten Kalenderjahr ins Karussell.
Seit mehr als 15 Jahren an den Decks, hat er im Laufe der Zeit zahlreiche Raves am See (anfangs als Freischwimmer-Beatpicknick), unter Brücken und in Indoor-Locations in Freising organisiert. Für fast 8 Jahre gab es sogar einen inoffiziellen Club namens Schloss Silberpfeil. In Freising ist er durch diese gesamte Zeit als Alex Silbermann bekannt.

Da in Freising offiziell nicht viel geboten wird, haben sich hier verschiedene Crews aus unterschiedlichen Generationen gebildet, die schon immer Privatpartys veranstalten. Vor knapp 2 Jahren entstand die OMG, Freibeats & Friends. Neben einigen Indoor-Partys wie der Entendisko haben sie ihr erstes kleines Festival mit 3 Floors und knapp 250 Gästen veranstaltet – das "Jetzt und Hier" Festival.

Musikalisch bewegte sich Alex lange zwischen den Genres Techno und House. Durch seine Reisen und Erfahrungen haben sich jedoch seit knapp 5 Jahren neue Türen im Tribal und Downtempo Bereich, geöffnet. Er liebt auch Ecstatic Dance und die Tatsache, nüchtern und tagsüber zu feiern und zu tanzen. Das werden auch zunehmend die Events sein, bei denen er in Zukunft öfter spielen wird.

Seine Sets sind (fast immer) progressiv aufgebaut, und er liebt es, langsamen, deepen und groovigen Ethno Sound mit Techno und Techhouse zu verbinden. Alex hat bereits in Australien, Neuseeland und Indien viel auf Festivals gearbeitet und aufgelegt.

Ein besonderes Projekt ist das Sidamo Soundsystem. Vor ein paar Jahren haben Alex und sein Freund Michi ein kleines, aber sehr feines Soundsystem gebaut (mittlerweile wächst der Bestand :D) und eine Jurte gekauft. Damit möchten sie die Festivalszene in Deutschland bereichern. Dabei wird er auch von seiner lieben Freundin Lilly (Lily Aylanda) unterstützt, die sich um die grafische Gestaltung von Logos, Covers, Flyern usw. kümmert.

Since she started to travel around the world, she was passionate for the regional and typical music for each town she visited. This is how she started to collect sounds from different cultures over the world. After having played in some clubs and event in Argentina, she started to play in countries like Russia, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Peru, Chile and Uruguay. 
With her power on downtempo music and slowly BPM she is taking influences from various producers into various genres to create unique mixings.
