I'm reminded of Kraftwerk but with a more modern treatment. Nicely done Mark.

Great intro sweeping stuff man, it reminds me of classic 70's synth, but not in a dated way. Great vox effect

as mentioned in another comment, kraftwerk comes to mind.  probably the vocal use, but also the clearly established melodies that hook and pull you in.  great synth sounds as well, love the old school sci-fi vibe.

This was inspired by a chapter in one of my favourite SciFi books 'Consider Phlebas' by Iain M Banks. The main character, Horza evades capture by recklessly flying his ship the Clear Air Turbulence, through and out of the much larger (actually enormous) GSV The Ends Of Invention, causing chaos and mayhem in the process.

This is a new version which will be included in an upcoming EP titled Space Cadet.

Escape From The Ends Of Invention 2015

Soft Enerji is Mark Blane. Originally from Scotland, now a born again Australian.

I like to make music in my spare time although spare time can be hard to come by.

I compose in Cubase 14, Ableton Live 12 and Reason 13. Among many plugins I also use Native Instuments Komplete 15 Ultimate Collectors Edition.

I have a Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 keyboard and a Maschine Mk3. My Bass guitars are a Warwick Corvette Fretless, a Schecter Diamond Series and a Cort Semi-Acoustic.
