Soulection boss man Joe Kay visited Finland for the first time to play a gig in Helsinki. Unfortunately we missed the gig, but Ink had a chance to meet Joe the next and chat about music. We also agreed that we will play part of his live set in the next show. So here it is, first hour mellow vibes and lots of Rnb and second hour, Joe Kay live at Bones in Helsinki. 

It was good to meet you and we look forward to see more people from Soulection tribe in Helsinki in the near future!

2 brothers inspired by the eclectic house sounds of the world. 

Finding inspiration through their travels around the globe from Japan to Scandinavia, but most importantly their stomping grounds in the house and techno community here in California. 

Born and raised in Southern California, they fought hard to honor they’re house music heritage. They come from a long line of Dj’s, pops was a Radio Dj back in Argentina. They grew up listening to Moby’s album Play as children. A good memory was of Moby’s track Porcelain playing as dad drove down PCH blasting it out of the black beamer. 

As life would have it they would eventually self release they’re first single “Beat Me Down” a funk classic belting with horns and a 4 on the floor groove that will make you move regardless if you have 2 left feet. 

They’re sound has matured from remixes, tech house bangers of the 2015. I’n 2020 they’ve found themselves at the door step entering into the world of analog synths and aiming for they’re own perfection.

At the beginning of 2022 Imbastari Brothers 2 new releases “Timeless & What you want” are a staple to what’s coming next, timeless grooves that are exactly what you want to get down to.
