Echoes of the Void is a personal project born from the urge to explore a different dimension of sound.
It sits somewhere between ambient, dub techno and cinematic textures — where music stops being linear and turns into atmosphere.

Each piece unfolds like a scene: minimal layers repeating and dissolving, resonances stretching into silence, tension that feels as present as the notes themselves. Between the analog and the digital, the brutalist and the ethereal, a universe emerges that shifts constantly — sometimes evoking the earth, sometimes the depths of the ocean, sometimes the vastness of space.

Echoes of the Void doesn’t try to provide answers. It offers a place to inhabit — an invitation to lose yourself in the echo, and discover within it a different way of listening.

@Nocta-Numerica is an independent music label with an eclectic taste spanning Electro, Disco, Italo and Acid Music. Their latest release sees them turn to Electro with 'Somnus Ambulo' , a 4-Track EP by the mysterious Russian producer PQ17 (@PlatoonQuick). The EP will be out on October 8th and available in digital and vinyl on all the usual platforms ! Limited edition of 300.

Our pick of the release, was the title trac which is filled with breaks, heavy bass and an infectious rhythm.

Photonz is the alias of Marco Rodrigues a DJ, producer and driving force of Lisbon's underground scene. For little over a decade now, he's been crafting his own deeply personal style of Portuguese house and techno for labels such as Créme Organization, 20:20 Vision, Don't Be Afraid, Skylax, Unknown To The Unknown and his own One Eyed Jacks.
Nuit is Photonz’s debut album and a simultaneous reference the Egyptian Goddess of the Stars or Night. Marco was really swept away by the concept of ‘freedom of form under the night sky’, the accepting embrace of Nuit. Ancestral, but also socially advanced and utopian; a deification of the night time.
Avalon. Legend the isle of the dead, an island paradise in the west where King Arthur and other heroes are taken after death. Have a first listen of Photonz vision of Avalon,  coldwave synthetical vibes crushed it into a dark bass groove, with his own elegant synth touch and broken percussion line.

PREMIERE #622 | Photonz - Avalon [Dark Entries] 2019

Cashminus, the belgo-Australian duo runs @Cashminusmusic, a platform where they showcase tracks that fit their DJ sets. While at the booth they bring a mix of ash acid, Italo and other early rave sounds such as Belgian new beat and EBM taking inspiration from their Belgian roots. They return with VERSIONS, 3 track EP where Donald’s house from Melbourne, E-talking from France and HongKong’s very own Mr. HO were asked to provide their own re-interpretations of the tracks “Paradise” & "De Vlasmarkt".

We are delighted to premiere, Mr. HO’s(@mrho) remix of “De Vlasmarkt”. Assuming that the track is named of the square that is regarded as the epicenter of Ghent Nightlife. You will party the night away for this one just the way you would if you were at this square.

At the forefront of Florence’s electronic music scene since 2010, Tropical Animals’ standout taste in club bookings was bound to lead to the formation of a label. Launched in 2018, and calling on past guests and local talent alongside friendly faces from a variety of scenes, they've quickly cemented their position as a bastion of intriguing, textured dance music. As this compilations name suggests ‘Rave In The Cave Vol.1’ is a subterranean collection of hard-hitting dancefloor cuts brought forth by a selection of their extended family. 
The 10 track compilation is laced with galactic offerings that retain a sense of real world rawness, from Nero Zang's 'Akasha', to Mystic Valley’s ‘First Sight’ - the former a ritual dance between extraterrestrial arps, acid stabs and shamanic drumwork, the latter causing seismic shakes through 303 squelches and eerie vocal samples.
0 tracks, 10 artists, a whole host of local talent, mixed with a smattering of world class, international producers that form one combined Tropical Animals family, epitomising a vibe they’ve carefully been nurturing for nearly 10 years.

The problem is that we do not notice how the years pass. Spit on the years passing, we don’t notice how things are changing. We know that everything is changing, we are taught from childhood that everything is changing, we have seen many times with our own eyes how everything is changing, and at the same time, we are completely unable to notice the moment when a change occurs, or we are looking for a change not there, where should be. The future is something you can't touch, feel or perceive. Future is not set.
Portland's Dark Leader rarely pamper us with its fantastic releases but when he does, he doing it top notch. This time the sixth release marked by its hometown man Etbonz, with 3 amazing tracks.
The titule track, "The Future Is Not Set" which we premiering today, has anxious, but so nice, driving bassline underpinning it with wonky effects, playful hooks and builds into a peak time killer. Cheeky stabs and dramatic pads only add to the urge the track fills you wrap yourself around and scan the dance floor to make sure there is no terminator around you. PREMIERE #779 | Etbonz - The Future Is Not Set [Dark Leader] 2020

Smoke ebbed and flowed through the warehouse, engulfing all dancers in its path. Through the haze you could make out countless sweaty writhing bodies, eyes closed or heads down; each and every one lost in their own world. Their hips oscillating and swaying with every kick and stab that punctured the room. Their bodies were slave to the rhythms. 

Close family Timothy Clerkin pays tribute the foundations of rave music with a contemporary vision with his new EP Psalm. Set for release on his own Insult To Injury imprint, that he runs alongside us at R$N HQ, it features three originals torn from the late night good book. 'Slave Too' - which also gets a remix on the flip from Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw - takes things up a gear following opener 'Psalm', bringing with it heavy breaks and detuned stabs that transport us back to the early 90s.
