Following on from the very robust debut of his own label Failsafe, Juxta Position deviates back to the more melancholic aesthetic with which he initially made his mark back in 2013 on Mistress Recordings.

Drawing palpable influence from ambient electronica like Boards Of Canada, he then reframes the aesthetic, with the help of rhythmic anchoring, on the 12 minute opening opus “Eureka”.

However, not to disappoint lovers of the slightly harder, more uptempo, electronic beat, the flip then dishes up two significantly more pressurised techno pieces, the former “Made In Belgrade” more linear, the latter “Reimagined” more flamboyant.

No money, no honey goes the saying. So, with that in mind, Honey Soundsystem Records returns to the aisles of your favorite (and least favorite) record stores with a money $hot 12 inch. Honey Soundsystem has been on the road seemingly non-stop, visiting foreign cities and meeting delightful characters on the way. This EP is a “tour diary” of sorts, 4 tunes that have been road tested to the nth degree and now we want our friends, fans, and foes to have them too.

A1 features a track by San Francisco’s Sepehr - the most ID requested track from our Chapter 10 Boiler Room finally revealed. A2 is by Stockholm’s Henrik Bergqvist, a tune Jackie got his hands on after a crazy night of MDMA and accidentally voguing on top of Henrik’s computer bag. Derrick Carter approved the use of his voice as long as it said “Snatched from DC” thanks Derrick. B1 is by the Twink-porn worthy brothers from Berlin: Morven Son - a horny moderne Electro classic featuring a secret sample from one of the more fabulous 90s movies about a sex worker. B2 is a hidden gem demo from Bogota’s Lunate. While visiting Bogota to play a gig at the legendary Video Club, locals kept pointing their finger at one guy when referencing the man in town making the music we needed to hear. That guy was Lunate and this one of those beautiful and simple tunes you can play at the beginning, middle, or end of any night.

The best news about this release? Everyone behind these tracks are genuine people with great hearts. The honestly comes through when listening and playing them out, you’re gonna love the way you they sound, I guarantee it. Oh, and some dope artwork by Bad Mariah.

Cashminus, the belgo-Australian duo runs @Cashminusmusic, a platform where they showcase tracks that fit their DJ sets. While at the booth they bring a mix of ash acid, Italo and other early rave sounds such as Belgian new beat and EBM taking inspiration from their Belgian roots. They return with VERSIONS, 3 track EP where Donald’s house from Melbourne, E-talking from France and HongKong’s very own Mr. HO were asked to provide their own re-interpretations of the tracks “Paradise” & "De Vlasmarkt".

For Uncanny Valley's 50th catalogue number called Valley 50: Green the label from Florence on the Elbe known as Dresden invited as many as four artists to contribute musical pieces to make the EP musically as colorful as the label and its philosophy – uniting like minded people on their label/ platform. The fifth color, Green, thus features music from Perm, Dispo 5000, cvbox and Iron Curtis. The latter, a Berliner by choice, comes up with Against My Window (Dazed Mix) a track with a determined groove that easily sucks its audience into its musical adaptation beforethe techno-ish meaningful mind sucker carries you far away from every day troubles right onto the dance floor to dance the aforementioned away.
