Five tracks from his beautiful and intimate Binding Elements-album (2023) were pushed in new directions by befriended producers and colleagues such as Moon Patrol, Will Oirson and https://soundcloud.com/leifsounds.

The latter turns Submerge into a melodic minimalist piece which pays homage to both Susumo Yokota and Steve Reich. Swiss-born producer https://soundcloud.com/benkaczor goes 4x4 on Irregular, pushing the dreamy original towards Giegling territory in a good and meditative way. 

https://soundcloud.com/dwaalgast108 extrapolates the dub elements in the title track Binding Elements while Brooklyn duo Moon Patrol takes things even deeper on their bass heavy remix of Rise. Closing track Ray gets a wonderful sun-bleached ambient treatment by the talented https://soundcloud.com/willoirson. All five remixes breathe new life in the original versions while retaining their unique magic. That’s what friends are for.

Sonny Sun makes his debut on Onsen Records with Overripe, a hypnotic and visceral single that captures the heat and weight of saturation.

Inspired by the slow decay of fruit left too long in storage, Overripe reflects the paradox of excess: when sweetness overflows, it turns to rot. Between flourishing and decline, the track channels this transformation, distilling pleasure into rhythm and melody that embrace the listener with warmth.

In Overripe, a classic kick anchors the foundation, while metallic textures and waves of psychedelia unfold in layers. The melody hovers between beauty and decadence, its low frequencies throbbing like fruit on the edge of collapse—pushing the senses to their limits, awaiting release.

As in every ritual, there comes a moment of surrender. Marking the beginning of this vision, the track deconstructs and reconstructs invisible sound currents—guiding listeners through collapse toward rebirth.

During these days everyone is going through very difficult times and sometimes it is difficult to look to the future with optimism. Among all this chaos we have love for our own and for music, which is always there to accompany us at all times. That is why we have decided to go ahead with the launch of our next reference, both to keep us busy during all these hours that we will be locked up at home, and to be able to publish this work to which we have dedicated a lot of time and effort to bring it to light.
A work in charge of the Valencian producer Jaime Romero, who had already shown signs of quality with his first productions in the Lontano duo, whose artistic evolution took a qualitative leap by starting to produce music with his project Pajaro Dune and with his new aka Estrato Aurora. After having delivered some excellent works for Appian Records, the London label Bliq and its own platform, Discos Pandémicos, it is
now NNY Records in charge of publishing the four tracks that make up this EP called “Atan”. Four magnificent productions created from many hours of study surrounded by all kinds of hardware, and ranging between immersive and danceable, with master touches of ambient, electro, IDM, techno and dub, which coexist in perfect harmony to make your listen to something physical and mental.
