1997 re-issue. He's been around for centuries and has a discography the length of the country he is living in. Meet Helge Tømmervåg from Norway. Most people know him only by his artist name: Mind over MIDI. Instead of the capital Oslo, Tømmervåg resides in Kristianssund, a tiny city near the west coast.

Since his techno excursions in the late nineties, Mind over MIDI has been a trustworthy beacon in the icey seas of Nordic techno and ambient. Nowadays, many of his records are extremely hard to find. So, this re-release of an early single on Utrecht based SoHaSo comes as a real treat.

 Artic Beats 2 originally came out in 1997 and contains four killer tracks which tick all the boxes for techno lovers: mysterious, melancholic music with subzero melodies and razor-sharp, frost bitten hi hats.

DJs will head straight for the pulsating trip that forms 'Do You Want This Body', while lovers of ice-cold moods head over to closer 'Dry Cool Place', which makes you wanna book a hotel room in the famous artic circle hotel straight away. Essential release for all those who take Nordic techno seriously.

"Seasoned Greetings" (DR008) marks the inception of the DE RIO split-release vinyl series. Collaborating in this inaugural installment are resident artist Plastique01 and Ukrainian techno luminary Stanislav Tolkachev. Originating from an encounter in Florence, where the duo not only shared the stage but also exchanged personal narratives, the EP delves into their unique interpretations of the techno genre. The result is a mesmerizing collection of four tracks, characterized by hypnotic melodies, unconventional sequences, detuned synthlines, and the pulsating rhythm of raw drums. Mild Fantasy is a new label from New York and its owner Elle Dee inaugurated the first EP with original tracks and collaborations with False Witness.

With an ear for darker sounds, the newest release is from Bazilian Projekt Gestalten who has released music on voxnox, KONFLKT and Advanced (Black), but is also a resident at Berlin’s Pornceptual club nights that has seen guests such as DVS1 and Freddy K.

The Lady Machine runs the up and coming Unterwegs imprint alongside Decka and for this DT:Premiere we selected her remix of “Wise People In Reverse” that has an industrial edge and stomping beat. Modular sparks and stabbing chords are met with deep metallic hits and an overall menacing feel that has been crafted for delivering dance floor devastation.
