Madloch's Crossfade Sounds is pleased to welcome back Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer for their second appearance on the label, presenting the Book of Palaces EP. The project is the creative alliance of Siberian brothers Alexander Kotlov (X_FR) and ENERCUBE, co-founders of the influential PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB label and podcast channel. With a shared vision rooted in the landscapes of their homeland, the duo has cultivated a sound that fuses rugged atmospheres with meditative depth, embodying the philosophy of contemporary dub techno while retaining a timeless old-school spirit.

Following their 2024 debut Shadow Astrology EP, Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer now unveils four new originals, each carrying their signature balance of weight and subtlety. Opening with Epiphysis Cerebri and Prince of Angels, the duo establishes a framework of immersive grooves and shadowy textures, before venturing into Rahatiel Stargate, a track marked by expansive layers and hypnotic drift. Closing piece Sefer Hekhalot encapsulates the essence of the release, offering a spacious, contemplative journey that lingers long after its final tones fade.

With Book of Palaces, Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer continues to expand their narrative within the Crossfade catalogue, reaffirming their role as architects of the Siberian dub techno sound while offering a release that resonates equally on introspective and club-focused stages.

Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album 'The Floor Is Lava'. First up is Barcelona's brightest flame, RAXON, who is melting 'Brainwave 2.0' into a stompin fun-filled primetime banger. Longtime collaborator DAVE DK is a masterful producer and remixer that appears regularly on Pampa and Kompakt. His take on 'The Solution' feels like a road trip to paradise and back. Montreal's PRIORI is one of the hottest names in showbiz right now. His ability to bridge genres and create pristine sound designs is fully on display in his remix for 'The Solution'. Last but not least, the legend that is SEBASTIAN MULLAERT took a moment off from his revered Circle Of Live jams to transform the albums deepest cut 'Ardor' into an extraordinary musical journey. Oldschool Border Community vibes in the rebound!

Originally "Back in the Days" released in 2004 on Resopal Schallware marked Tigerskin as a torchbearer for pop-oriented groovy House, reviving the raw energy of early 90s bleeps, swung beats, and untamed dance floor spirit but transforming it with the technical possibilities of the early 00s into his trademark romantic vision.

From the pulse of “Dance Now” to the cringey charm of “Party in My Car,” Tigerskin proved that Back in the Days was more than a look backward - it was a bridge between era's: a reminder that the roots of club culture still grow, still breathe, still move people.

Two decades on, this re‑release doesn’t just bring back nostalgia - it reminds us that reminiscing every once in a while can push creativity. The album and a few EPs around it were the start of a pretty different approaches to club music for Tigerskin, that led to several big tracks and remixes, some now considered to be classics by many. 

The three formerly unreleased and slightly more club-oriented bonus tracks had been recorded the same year but were amongst many that didn’t make it to the album.

Peter Invasion is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and founder of the influential label Riotvan, which he launched in 2006 as an underground party series before evolving it into one of Germany’s most respected imprints alongside Panthera Krause. Since 2019, his collaboration with Gregor Habicht has produced numerous releases on labels like Correspondant, Live at Robert Johnson, Aeon, and Riotvan, along with acclaimed remixes for artists such as Damon Jee, Theus Mago, and Moderna.

A global touring artist, Peter has played renowned venues and festivals including Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Pikes Ibiza, EDC Mexico, Printworks London, and Burning Man’s Mayan Warrior, with mixes featured on Keinemusik, Mayan Warrior, HÖR, and Arte Concert. He continues to bring depth, emotion, and innovation to the dancefloor, standing out as a curator and performer whose work bridges underground authenticity with timeless, forward-thinking sound.

Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and elettronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music. He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music. Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival. Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular dj at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate. In 2013 he joined Dimitri SoEmotional in the “Studio Luce” project.

Fresh off his latest release on Haven Trax, he already has a new EP lined up. Nuno Dos Santos may be a house producer but he certainly isn't a one-trick-pony. On his new EP Hidden Beaumise, the Utrecht-based artist casually introduces speed garage elements. He incorporates these angular West London rhythms into the title track, which ultimately develops into a beautiful and atmospheric house floater. ‘It is an ode to a very special person in my life,’ Dos Santos says about Hidden Beaumise.

The B-side, Dual Code, is melancholic in a different way. Deliciously fluid house with effective Detroit strings and delicate pads from the Roland D50, a synthesiser that has been around for almost 50 years. If this record was indeed made for someone special, it very likely hit the right spot.

Andrey Sirotkin is a Kyiv-based DJ and electronic music producer known for his signature mixture of acid and techno. As the founder of Vyrii Records – a label focused on deep, underground sounds and forward-thinking club music – Andrey has built a sound that’s both raw and detailed, balancing energy and emotion. His releases on labels like Systematic Recordings, Brique Rouge, RZ Muzik, THISBE, Opilec, and Diffuse Reality have earned him recognition for a distinctive approach to production and a strong connection to the dance floor.
