This album is a collection of beats made from 'fragments' / unused samples on my MPC2000XL. The majority of these samples were processed through the SP12 Turbo, Ensoniq EPS 16+ or the Tascam 244 for that raw hip hop sound. All tracks were completed during summer 2021 and were heavily influenced by days at the beach and in the sun.

One half of the legendary production duo Monastry with Atoribeats, Soii hails from the Blue Mountains and is known for blending old-school vibes with a modern twist. Using vintage hardware, an SP1200 sampler, and carefully selected vinyl, he creates soulful rhythms and infectious grooves. Whether crafting laid-back hip-hop beats or house-driven rhythms, his sound resonates with those who appreciate a timeless and nostalgic vibe.
