An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant. Juicebox Music's 79th release welcomes Agustín Ficarra to the fold as he makes his debut with a 3-track EP, featuring "Revival", "Levitar" & "Conventional Habit". The Buenos Aires (Argentina) based artist made his production debut in 2020 and has since scaled his associations & quality, from releases on D-Nox's 'Sprout', Mango's 'Mango Alley' to Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' and Hernan Cattaneo & Graziano Raffa's 'Sudbeat'. Agustín continued making waves, especially around his country, through his comprehensive & genre-breaking DJ sets, whether it's on his own or alongside fellow peers from the 'Who Knows' crew.

To showcase a portion of his range, Agustín's curated & put together 3 tracks that express certain musical directions, whether it's the hard-hitting techno-influenced monster in "Revival" or the organic-infused emotionally charged groover in "Levitar" or the technically unconventional (excuse the pun) songwriting in "Conventional Habit". To close the year, we are gifting the labels followers with a very strong Zenebona showcase. The original track Svadhishthana, created during the successful Chakra Boogie event series, was inspired by the creative chakra point. Once again, Peter Makto expands his musical catalog with a unique sound that cannot be categorized compared to his other tracks. The EP also includes remixes by the Zenebona titans Matthew Sona and Liozen. Both remixes were made in the signature style of these two young talents. These three tracks form a very strong unit. Each track is prime-time and DJ-friendly, safe to play at parties. Thank you for your support in 2024, and we promise to bring the same high or even better high quality music in 2025!
