It's been a while since I uploaded a DJ set ...

Last few times I tried to record a set, always something went wrong, either i never received the recording or the quality wasn't good etc... but this time I have a nice one! yuhuu!

Here's the recording of my 2.5 hours sunset session at Wolvenroedel Presents Zongeluk in Zandvoort, Holland; featuring some of my favorite tracks lately.

Next up for our meanwhile moments series we are proud to present one of the world's finest DJ exponents of deep futuristic progressive house, Belgium's Eran Aviner.
As label head of Edge Records,  his infamous Edge events, and with a touring schedule around Eruope & beyond, Eran's set always speak to a woven tapestry into a journey of sound.
His "room service" sessions throughout the pandemic highlighted Eran's passion for his sound & sharing it with the world.
This set is a fantastic journey recorded live at the recent Extrema Festival in Belgium!

"Because absolutely nothing compares to music. This language, whose universal vibes can  be understood by anybody, connects people around the globe be it religions, cultures or ethnicity. Great tunes turn strangers into friends. One note expresses more emotions than a thousand words. Music goes on where words fall short. It simply touches your soul.   Born in Antwerp in 1982, Eran soon discovered his sense of rhythm and passion for sound. One sweet day, the cherished dream of creating his own music and becoming a DJ came true. It was an absolute treat to perform this set at the Robot Heart residency. A fantastic space with excellent sound, closely situated to Burning Man's physical roots, celebrating a broad creative spectrum of music, lighting, and physical installation art — what's not to love? 

It was the perfect setting to debut this "A/Vfib Live" show. After 20+ years of making dance music and 10+ years working on LED art, the concept of a singular integrated performance of original audio-visual content had been slowly gathering steam in my mind. 

With this opportunity, the moment finally felt right. Huge gratitude to the whole Robot Heart team and the Defibrillator lighting crew for creating such a unique multi-media canvas to play on, for trusting me to explore new material, and for fostering so much creative development along the way. Special thanks to @shafferj for "seeing the light" many years ago and steadily encouraging this work ever since, from freezing our asses off shooting photos at night to developing supremely cozy butt-warming interior lighting environments.

Happy New Year to you all! Sometimes it feels each year goes by quicker and quicker, but it feels good to rewind, slow down and live in the moment! 

We are absolutely thrilled to have one of the pioneers of deep, dreamy and electronic grooves. Mark Slee doesn't need any formal introductions, but like all quality artists it is important to provide a little background and context to give you listeners a nugget of information to take away with you :) 

He's been on the scene for over 20 years and therefore has an idea of what groove is all about. Teaming up with Atish in 2016 they created the label @manjumasi , which has been a leader in releasing quality deep house productions with a hint of quirkiness to differentiate themselves from the masses. A reference point for the connoisseurs. 

Once you click play on this mix you are suddenly already 20 minutes in without even realizing it. "Good" or "Great" DJs is a term that is far too easily used in the current electronic scene, but when you listen to the transitions in this mix, the track selection and the music Journey that Mark brings you on, you can now understand what differentiates your every day DJ to one that actually understands what music is all about.

It was such a beautiful day there on the shoreline over looking San Francisco Bay.  I feel this mix really captures the vibes we conjured up that day.
