Solace and Fury composes music drenched with sultry vocals entwined among soothing cello lines and dark rhythms. Their music is heart-wrenching, warm, melancholy, reflective, but most of all- moving. So take a listen, light some candles and drink some wine... but they're best loud and in the dark.

The Greenhorn Brothers is a country infused rock band from Southern California (via North Carolina, Arkansas and Louisiana) whose songs were born in late night writing and jam sessions amidst coyotes howling, snakes slithering and owls hooting in the dusty hills of Topanga Canyon.  Topanga has a long musical history which is not lost on the five members of The Greenhorn Brothers, all long time friends and canyon dwellers.  It was groups like The Flying Burrito Brothers, Little Feat, Buffalo Springfield, The Band and Neil Young that first inspired them to play songs of love and loss, of sadness and celebration...songs filled with characters and stories that one might see parts of themselves in and find some solace with.  

Recorded at The Band and Bob Dylan’s former studio Shangri La (now owned by producer Rick Rubin) and Jackson Browne’s exquisite Groovemasters Flying Down This Road is an EP filled with finely crafted songs and rich harmonies all recorded beautifully and delivered with so much soul it jumps out of the speakers, grabs your heart and won’t let go.
