What a night the opening was! Packed house with over 500 people, great and varied set of artists and their versions of "trance". Next event on Easter Thursday 17.04.2025 with myself, MFM of Below0, Joni DJ from Post Bar and Cool DJ Pinball Heikki from Skorpioni. So happy that there is a regular trance night in Helsinki again <3

Afterdark represents one of the purest expressions of who I am as an artist; the embodiment of “Dark Markus.” Inspired by the late-night portions of my open-to-close solo sets and the Down the Rabbit Hole club experiences, it captures those hours when the dancefloor transforms into something deeper, more hypnotic, and spiritual.

Every transition across this four-hour journey was carefully crafted; each movement and tempo shift designed to evolve naturally, guiding you deeper into the shadows. From driving energy to haunting melody, Afterdark 2025 is a continuous story told through sound, where no moment stands alone and every passage leads to the next.

This is music for the night people; the ones who understand that when words fade, flow is everything. It's the 11th year of doing this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as ever.
